How To Do A Quick Facial At Home By Yourself Using Home Made Remedies

Whether you are a stay at home mother or have a corporate job, you need to keep your appearance looking pristine at the best of times and that can sometimes be a difficult job. If you find that you do not always have time to go to the spa for a professional facial, I've got a great solution for you.

Today, many spas provide what is known as microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion is a technique that involves peeling away layers of dead skin from your face using a system similar to sandblasting, but on a much, much smaller scale.

When a layer of dead skin cells is removed from your face, this helps to reveal the fresh new skin that was found underneath the dead layer. This process helps to produce the appearance of a face lift without the costs and complications of cosmetic surgery.

Most women who undergo microdermabrasion have sometimes found that after the procedure, their skin becomes sensitive, irritated, and swollen. That is not to mention the professional spa treatments that require appointments, and can cost  between $150 - $ 600 dollars.

So what can you do yourself to achieve the same results produced by microdermabrasion in an effective, fast, inexpensive way.

You will need a lemon salt scrub.

Lemon Salt Scrub Materials:

  • One small lemon

  • Four tablespoons of fine sea salt

If you do not have a lemon, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice is fine, and if you can not get finely ground sea salt, table salt will do well.

  • Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice of one half into a small bowl.

  • Then put four tablespoons of sea salt well in, and stir well.

  • You want a solution with the consistency of oatmeal.

  • Then take a fingertip full of some of the solution and rub it on your face and pores, make sure to rub gently as you go.

  • Let the mix stand for five to ten minutes, then rinse with cold water.

You will find your skin softer and smoother than it was before, with a nice warm light. All this will cost you less than a few dollars, and no more than 15 minutes from start to finish.

Now you can a fresh, new look at home, or anywhere, what the spa costs so much money to provide, at a fraction of the cost.
