Eggless Ginger Gems Recipe - Kosher Food - Jewish Diets And Cuisines




Here's a recipe for eggless ginger gems:



Ingredients:



- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/4 cup molasses



Instructions:




1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground ginger.

3. In another mixing bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, milk, vinegar, and molasses.

4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

5. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a gem comes out clean.

7. Remove the gems from the oven and let them cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes.

8. Remove the gems from the muffin tin and let them cool completely on a wire rack.

9. Serve the ginger gems as a snack or dessert.
