Ingredients:



- 1 lb. fish fillet
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon ginger, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped


Instructions:



1. Rinse the fish fillet and pat it dry with paper towels. Season it with salt and pepper on both sides.

2. Place the ginger slices, minced garlic, and green onions in a heatproof dish that will fit inside your steamer.

3. Place the seasoned fish fillet on top of the ginger, garlic, and green onions.

4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil. Pour the mixture over the fish.

5. Bring water to a boil in the steamer. Once the water is boiling, place the dish with the fish inside the steamer.

6. Cover the steamer and steam the fish for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

7. Once the fish is cooked, remove the dish from the steamer and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.

8. Serve the steamed fish with steamed vegetables and rice, if desired.
