I Will Wait For Your Salvation | Genesis 49:18 | Devotional
Bible Verse
“I have waited for Your salvation, O Adonai.” — Genesis 49:18
Reflection
Waiting is one of the hardest things our hearts are called to do. In this single, powerful verse, Jacob pauses amid his blessings to declare his trust in Adonai’s deliverance. He knew salvation was not something he could achieve by his own strength—it had to come from above.
In our own lives, waiting often feels heavy. We wait for healing, provision, answers, restoration, and peace. Yet, when we wait with hope anchored in Adonai, our waiting becomes worship. We are reminded that Yeshua, the promised salvation of Israel, has already come, and He is faithful to come again.
Waiting is not wasted time—it is the sacred space where faith grows deeper roots.
Prayer
Abba Father,
Teach me to wait with faith, patience, and courage. Strengthen my heart to trust in Your perfect timing, and help me see Yeshua as my salvation in every season of life. Let my waiting bring You glory, and may I never lose hope in Your promises.
In Yeshua’s name, Amen.
