Prayer For My family - When The Enemy Is Whispering Lies In Our Home
Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King, I come before You today, lifting up my family into the covering of Your Presence. HaShem, You are our strong tower, our Rock, and our Deliverer. You are the God of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya’akov, and I call on Your holy Name, for there is no other Name worthy of praise, glory, and honor.
Abba, I see how the enemy tries to creep into my home with whispers of lies, with shadows of fear, and with words that divide. But I declare today that my family belongs to You. We are a covenant household, sealed in the blood of Yeshua the Messiah, who gave His life that we might walk in light and not in darkness.
HaShem, I plead the shield of Yeshua’s blood over the doors and windows of my home, over the minds and hearts of my family, and over every room where we dwell. Let every whisper of the enemy be silenced by the voice of Your truth. As it is written:
“HaShem is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? HaShem is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)
“Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.” (John 17:17)
Father, surround us with the fire of God, the consuming fire that destroys every unclean work and burns away the snares of the adversary. Let Your fire stand as a wall around my family, that no darkness may enter. Just as You were a pillar of fire to Israel in the wilderness, be a pillar of fire in my home—driving out confusion, fear, and lies.
Abba, when the enemy whispers, let us only hear Your voice. For Yeshua said:
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27)
Let every false word be cast down, for You are not a God of confusion but of peace. HaShem, let the words of Yeshua dwell richly in our home, guiding our steps and shaping our hearts. Let us cling to Your promises:
“You shall not fear them, for it is HaShem your God who fights for you.” (Deuteronomy 3:22)
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)
Father, I ask that Your Kingdom expand in my family’s life. Let Your glory be revealed in how we love each other, how we forgive each other, and how we walk in obedience to Your Word. Protect us from strife, bitterness, and anger, for these are the enemy’s seeds. Instead, plant in us the fruits of righteousness, that we may glorify You.
Abba, may my home be a sanctuary where Your Spirit dwells. Let it be filled with the songs of praise, the words of Torah, and the light of Yeshua. Guard the minds of my children, the heart of my spouse, and the steps of every member of my family. Let no curse, no occult word, no demonic scheme prosper against us, for You, O HaShem, are our shield and defender.
As it is written:
“But You, O HaShem, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” (Psalm 3:3)
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.” (John 14:1)
Father, be exalted in my family. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives as it is in the heavens. Let every attack of the adversary turn into testimony that brings glory to Your Name. May the light of Yeshua shine brighter than every lie spoken in the shadows.
I declare that this home belongs to HaShem, sealed under the shield of Yeshua’s blood, surrounded by the fire of God, and established for the glory of the Father.
In Yeshua’s holy Name, I pray. Amen.
