  • Devotional Reflection
  • Heartfelt Prayer
  • Faith-Building Prompts

📖 7-Day Rosh Hashanah Devotional

Draw near to the King. Renew your spirit. Rejoice in redemption.

🌅 Day 1: Welcoming the New Year with Sweetness

🕯️ Theme: Awaken to the Sound of the King

📜 Scripture:

“Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.” — Psalm 81:3

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” — Matthew 4:17

💬 Reflection:

Rosh Hashanah begins not with silence—but with a blast. The shofar stirs our soul to attention, calling us back to the heart of God. Yeshua echoes that same call: Turn around. The King has come near. We begin the year not with resolutions, but with repentance—returning to what matters most.

🙏 Prayer:

Abba, awaken my soul to Your voice. Let the sound of the shofar shake loose the distractions that keep me from You. I return to You, my King. Renew my heart with Your presence.

🖋️ Prompt:

What “noise” do I need to silence to hear the voice of God more clearly?

What area of my life is He calling me to return to Him in?

---

🌅 Day 2: Reflection and Renewal

🕯️ Theme: A New Heart for a New Year

📜 Scripture:

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8

💬 Reflection:

Clean hands are not enough. The King is after hearts. Rosh Hashanah invites us into an inner renewal—one only God can do. Yeshua says the pure in heart see God. He’s not calling us to perfection, but to openness. When we let Him wash our hearts, clarity comes, and so does His presence.

🙏 Prayer:

Yeshua, purify my heart. Strip away bitterness, pride, and fear. I long to see You more clearly this year—face to face, heart to heart.

🖋️ Prompt:

In what ways do I need God to renew my heart this season?

Are there hidden things I need to confess and release?

---

🌅 Day 3: The Joy of the King

🕯️ Theme: Strength Through Joy

📜 Scripture:

“The joy of the LORD is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

“These things I have spoken to you... that your joy may be full.” — John 15:11

💬 Reflection:

Joy is not optional. It's essential. In Nehemiah’s time, the people wept when they heard the Word—but God said, “Rejoice!” Because joy isn’t the absence of sorrow—it’s the presence of the King. Yeshua came to complete our joy, not just momentarily but eternally.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, restore my joy in You. Even when things are uncertain, let Your joy strengthen me. Teach me to rejoice, not just when I feel good—but because You are good.

🖋️ Prompt:

What is stealing my joy?

How can I invite the joy of Yeshua into my daily life?

---

🌅 Day 4: Day of Remembrance

🕯️ Theme: Looking Back to Move Forward

📜 Scripture:

“You shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with blast of trumpets.” — Leviticus 23:24

“This do in remembrance of Me.” — Luke 22:19

💬 Reflection:

God commands us to remember. Not just history—but His faithfulness. Every trumpet blast proclaims: He has brought us this far. Yeshua, too, left us a remembrance—the bread and the cup. As we break bread this Rosh Hashanah, we remember the broken One who made us whole.

🙏 Prayer:

God of remembrance, thank You for every step You’ve led me through. Thank You for Messiah Yeshua, who gave His life that I might live. I will remember—and rejoice.

🖋️ Prompt:

What was one moment in the past year when I clearly saw God’s hand?

What can I do today to honor His faithfulness?

---

🌅 Day 5: Day of Mercy

🕯️ Theme: Giving What We've Been Given

📜 Scripture:

“You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.” — Psalm 86:5

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” — Luke 6:36

💬 Reflection:

Mercy is the language of Heaven. Rosh Hashanah reminds us that we are alive today only because of God’s mercy. Yeshua commands us to extend that same mercy—to others and to ourselves. When we show mercy, we reflect the character of our Father.

🙏 Prayer:

Merciful Father, thank You for never giving up on me. Teach me to love others with the same compassion You’ve shown me. Let mercy flow from my life like living water.

🖋️ Prompt:

Is there someone I need to forgive?

Is there someone I need to show kindness to today?

---

🌅 Day 6: The Hope of Redemption

🕯️ Theme: Trusting the One Who Restores

📜 Scripture:

“I know that my Redeemer lives…” — Job 19:25

“The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10

💬 Reflection:

Job declared hope in the midst of suffering—not because of what he saw, but because of who he believed in. Yeshua is our Redeemer—the One who seeks us, finds us, and saves us. Redemption is not only about forgiveness, it’s about restoration.

🙏 Prayer:

Redeemer Yeshua, I trust You to restore what has been broken in my life. Find me in the hidden places. Heal my heart. Redeem every part of my story for Your glory.

🖋️ Prompt:

What part of my life needs Yeshua’s redemption today?

Where do I feel lost—and how can I let Him find me?

---

🌅 Day 7: Crowning the King

🕯️ Theme: Exalting the King of Kings

📜 Scripture:

“The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice.” — Psalm 97:1

“You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born…” — John 18:37

💬 Reflection:

Rosh Hashanah is more than a new year—it’s a coronation. We crown the King afresh. Yeshua wasn’t just born to save us—He came to reign. Today we celebrate not only the return of the year, but the reign of our Messiah.

🙏 Prayer:

King Yeshua, I crown You again in my heart. Be enthroned in my words, my choices, my family. May this new year be marked by Your reign in every part of my life.

🖋️ Prompt:

What would it look like for Yeshua to truly be King over my home, my time, and my relationships?

How can I worship Him as King in practical ways this year?
