They Said I Wouldn’t Live To See The Morning | But The Nazarene Walked Into My Room
A Quick Summary
This is not just my story—it’s yours too. On the edge of death, writhing in pain, I saw no hope. Doctors shook their heads. Family whispered their final prayers. But then… the atmosphere changed. The Healer from Nazareth stepped into my room. The same Yeshua (Jesus) who opened blind eyes and raised the dead came to me, and gave me a second chance at life. If He did it for me, He can do it for you.

The Night Death Knocked on My Door
I still remember the night.
The monitors beeped slower. The IV dripped like a ticking clock counting down. My breath was shallow, my strength fading.
Doctors said there was no cure. My body was giving up. My family wept by my bedside. My world grew dimmer with every passing hour.
I whispered like King David in the Psalms:
> “The cords of death encompassed me; the torrents of destruction assailed me. In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help.” (Psalm 18:4,6)
But heaven felt silent.
Was this the end?

A Stranger in the Shadows
Just past midnight, when even the nurses had stepped out, something shifted in the room.
I was too weak to lift my head, but I felt a Presence—ancient, yet alive. The shadows bent as though making way for Someone greater. The air thickened with power.
And then I saw Him.
Not with my physical eyes, but in the spirit.
The Nazarene.
Yeshua, Son of David.
His robe glowed faintly like fire on stone. His eyes pierced me, yet filled me with peace. I recognized Him instantly, though I had never truly known Him.

The Voice That Shattered Despair
He spoke—not with sound, but straight into my soul:
> “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
My body shook. I wanted to cry out, but no sound came.
He stretched out His hand toward me, and suddenly I remembered the words written in the Torah and the Prophets:
“I am the LORD, your healer.” (Exodus 15:26)
“Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily.” (Isaiah 58:8)
This was no dream. This was the same Yeshua who healed the paralytic lowered through the roof, who touched lepers and they were clean, who said to the synagogue ruler’s daughter, “Talitha koum”—Little girl, I say to you, arise! (Mark 5:41).

The Moment of Resurrection
He placed His hand over my chest.
A heat surged through my body. My heart pounded against His touch.
And then—life.
Strength rushed back into my bones. My breath deepened. The pain drained from my body like water poured out.
The monitors blared and nurses came running, shouting my name, unable to understand how a dying man could suddenly sit up, color restored to his face.
I whispered through trembling lips:
> “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases.” (Psalm 103:2-3)
---
The Doctors Had No Answer
They examined me over and over.
The disease was gone.
The infection vanished.
The death sentence had been overturned.
But I knew.
The Healer of Israel had visited me.

Why He Found Me
I asked Him in prayer, “Why me? Why now?”
And He reminded me of His own words:
> “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Mark 2:17)
I had run from Him for years. I treated faith like a story for other people. But He chased me down, even to my sick bed.

This Same Jesus Can Heal You Too
I am alive today because the Messiah still heals.
And He can do the same for you.
Are you sick in body? He is still YHVH Rapha—the LORD who heals.
Are you sick in spirit? He forgives and restores.
Are you bound in fear? He says, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27)
No doctor, no medicine, no ritual could do what He did in a single moment.

Your Invitation to Believe
I stand here today not because of my strength, but because of His mercy.
He found me at death’s door, and raised me to life again.
And now I tell you: this same Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth, is alive. He is the Messiah of Israel, foretold by Moses and the Prophets, revealed in the Gospels.
> “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Believe in Him. Trust Him. Call upon His Name.
Because if He did it for me, He can do it for you.

✨ Friend, do not wait for the sick bed to meet Him. Cry out today. He is nearer than you think.
