Prayer For My Family - When Unseen Forces Try To Divide Us
Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King, I come before You in humility and in boldness, for You alone are worthy to be praised. HaShem, You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the covenant-keeping God of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya’akov. I lift up my family to You, for You are our strong tower and our refuge in times of trouble.
Abba, I recognize that unseen forces seek to creep into our home, whispering division, planting strife, and sowing confusion. But I declare today that my household belongs to You. We are sealed by the shield of Yeshua’s blood, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
As it is written:
“HaShem is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.” (Psalm 28:7)
“Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and a divided household falls.” (Luke 11:17)
Abba, I plead the blood of Yeshua over the doorway of my home, over the heart of my spouse, over the minds of my children, and over every relationship within this family. Let the shield of Yeshua’s blood block every fiery dart of the adversary and silence every whisper of the accuser.
HaShem, surround us with the fire of God. Let it burn away every seed of discord, every shadow of bitterness, every spirit of division that seeks to dwell among us. As You declared through Your prophet:
“For I, says HaShem, will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory within her.” (Zechariah 2:5)
Father, let Your fire consume the works of the enemy and purify our hearts so that we may walk in unity. Let us hear only Your voice, for Yeshua said:
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27)
Abba, make us quick to forgive, slow to anger, and rich in mercy. Teach us to love one another as Yeshua commanded:
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34–35)
HaShem, may Your Shalom rest in our home. Let Your light expose every hidden scheme of darkness and drive it far from us. May the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing before You.
For it is written:
“How good and how pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9)
Father, glorify Yourself in my family. Let our unity reflect Your Kingdom. Let our forgiveness testify of Your mercy. Let our love show forth the power of Yeshua’s cross. May every attempt of the adversary to divide us turn instead into a testimony of how strong You are to keep us together.
Abba, I ask that Your angels surround this home. Guard our coming in and our going out. Strengthen our bonds, deepen our love, and renew our commitment to serve You as one household, united under Your Name.
HaShem, may our family be a light in the midst of darkness, a testimony of Your power, and a vessel for Your Kingdom to expand on this earth.
I seal this prayer with the shield of Yeshua’s blood, surrounded by the fire of God, for the glory of the Father.
In Yeshua’s holy Name, I pray. Amen.
