Prayer for Decision Making Today

A Messianic Jewish Prayer of Guidance, Discernment, and Kingdom Purpose

Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King,
I come before You today in humility and trembling awe. Hashem, You alone are the One who sees the end from the beginning, the One who knows every path, every possibility, every hidden thing. As I stand at the crossroads of decisions, I ask that You flood my heart with Your light, align my steps with Your Torah, and let every choice I make bring glory to Your Name and expand the Kingdom of Heaven through Yeshua, my Messiah.

Hashem, I ask You to surround me with the shield of Yeshua’s blood, covering my mind, my emotions, my spirit, and every direction I am considering. Let no confusion, no fear, no deception, and no voice that is not Yours influence me. Let the fire of God burn away every distraction and make my path straight before me. As it is written: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

Father, I desire more than anything that You be glorified. Not my will, not my desires, not my impulses—but Your will alone. Help me to choose the path that honors You, the option that aligns with righteousness, the decision that reflects Your heart. Let every action I take bear fruit that testifies of Your goodness and Your holiness.

Yeshua, my Shepherd and my Redeemer, I ask You to lead me as You led Your disciples, speaking clearly and guiding me with the peace that only You can give. As You said: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27)

Hashem, grant me wisdom, for You promised: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye upon you.” (Psalm 32:8)
And as Yeshua taught: “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

Today, I seek to honor You with every choice.
Today, I set my heart to follow Your ways.
Today, I quiet every other voice so I may hear Yours clearly.
Today, I stand under the covering of Yeshua’s blood and walk forward in confidence that Your plans for me are good.

Hashem, uproot every seed of doubt, fear, and double-mindedness.
Strengthen my resolve.
Purify my intentions.
Fix my eyes on You so that the choices I make today will echo into eternity.

Let the fire of God consume every false path.
Let Your glory rest upon the decisions I make.
Let Your Kingdom advance through every step I take.

May my choices be an act of worship.
May my obedience be a testimony.
May my life be a vessel for Your light in this world.

As it is written: “Trust in Hashem with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5–6)

And as Yeshua declared: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)

Therefore, I choose Your way, Hashem.
I choose Your truth, Yeshua.
I choose Your life, Holy Father.

Guide me.
Lead me.
Guard me.
Establish me.
And let every decision I make today bring glory to Your Holy Name.

I surrender this day, this moment, this choice, and my entire future into Your hands.
