Prayer for Ebola Victims - A Messianic Jewish Cry for Healing, Mercy, and the Glory of HaShem

Avinu Malkeinu, our Father and our King,

I come before You with trembling hands and a broken heart for the people of East Africa who are suffering under the shadow of Ebola, grief, fear, loneliness, and death. HaShem, You see every village, every child crying in the night, every mother mourning, every exhausted caregiver, every soul sitting in silence beside loss and devastation. Nothing is hidden from Your eyes. You are El Roi, the God who sees.

Father, I lift my voice to You in the name of Yeshua the Messiah, asking that Your mercy would pour out like mighty waters upon the nations afflicted by this epidemic. Stretch forth Your healing hand, O Lord. Let Your compassion cover the sick, the dying, the grieving, and the abandoned. Draw near to those who feel forgotten by the world. Surround them with Your presence and let them know they are not alone.

Your Word says:

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

HaShem, be near now to every brokenhearted family. Be near to the widows, the orphans, the frightened doctors, the weary nurses, and the volunteers risking their own lives to help others. Let Your strength uphold them when their bodies are weak and their hearts are heavy.

Yeshua, Messiah of Israel, I ask for the shield of Your holy blood to surround the innocent and vulnerable. Let the blood of Yeshua stand as protection against destruction and terror. Cover homes, hospitals, villages, refugee camps, and places of mourning with Your mercy and peace. Rebuke the spirit of fear, despair, and hopelessness.

Your Word declares:

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” — Isaiah 54:17

And again:

“When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” — Exodus 12:13

Holy Father, let Your divine protection rest upon those crying out to You. Let the plague be restrained by Your mighty hand. Speak life where death has tried to reign.

Yeshua, You said:

“With God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26

Therefore I refuse despair. I refuse hopelessness. I declare that You are still the God of miracles. You are still the healer of the sick, the restorer of the broken, and the comforter of those who mourn.

You said in Your Word:

“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.” — Jeremiah 17:14

So I ask for healing to flow across East Africa. Let fevers break. Let bodies recover. Let immune systems strengthen. Let contaminated places be cleansed. Let medicine, supplies, food, and aid reach those in desperate need. Raise up righteous leaders, compassionate doctors, wise scientists, courageous believers, and merciful neighbors.

Father, send the fire of God into the darkness. Let Your holy fire burn away corruption, fear, witchcraft, violence, exploitation, and despair. Let the fire of Your Ruach HaKodesh awaken hearts to repentance, faith, mercy, and truth. May this tragedy become a turning point where multitudes seek Your face and call upon the name of Yeshua.

Your Word says:

“For our God is a consuming fire.” — Deuteronomy 4:24

And Yeshua declared:

“You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14

Therefore let Your light shine in every place overshadowed by death. Let hope arise where sorrow has lived. Let songs of worship rise again in towns that have known only weeping.

Father, glorify Your name through mercy, healing, compassion, and salvation. Let many come to know that Yeshua is the promised Messiah, the Prince of Peace, and the Good Shepherd who does not abandon His flock.

Yeshua said:

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” — John 10:11

Good Shepherd, gather the scattered. Hold the frightened close to Your heart. Carry the weak and exhausted. Speak peace over those traumatized by loss. Heal the minds of children who have seen too much suffering. Restore joy to homes emptied by grief.

HaShem, let Your Kingdom expand through this storm. Where fear has spread, let faith spread even greater. Where disease has multiplied, let testimonies of healing multiply. Where death has shaken communities, let eternal hope in Yeshua arise.

Your Word says:

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.” — Isaiah 9:2

Let that great light shine now over East Africa. Let revival come forth from the ashes of sorrow. Raise up believers filled with compassion, humility, holiness, and courage. Let congregations become shelters of healing and prayer. Let love overcome division and hatred.

Father, I pray against loneliness and abandonment. Wrap Your arms around every person isolated by sickness or quarantine. Speak comfort into hospital rooms and silent homes. Remind the suffering that You have not forsaken them.

As it is written:

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.” — Isaiah 41:10

And Yeshua said:

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

Comfort the mourners, Lord. Wipe away tears. Give supernatural peace to those overwhelmed with grief. Let forgiveness flow in families. Let reconciliation happen between neighbors and tribes. Let the spirit of unity rise stronger than fear.

HaShem, I ask You to protect humanitarian workers, missionaries, intercessors, and all who are serving sacrificially. Strengthen their bodies. Guard their minds. Renew their spirits daily. Reward every hidden act of kindness done in Your name.

Your Word says:

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.” — Matthew 25:40

May hearts turn toward mercy and compassion. May the nations not ignore the suffering. Stir generosity throughout the earth. Open the hands of those with abundance to help those in desperate need.

Father, let this crisis become a testimony of Your faithfulness. Let miracles be spoken of in villages and cities. Let healings confound unbelief. Let dreams and visions of Yeshua spread throughout the land. Let many discover salvation and eternal hope through the Messiah of Israel.

Your Word says:

“Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:3

So I call upon You now, O Lord of Hosts. Hear this prayer. Hear the cries of the afflicted. Rise with healing in Your wings.

As it is written:

“But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings.” — Malachi 4:2

May Your name be glorified, HaShem.
May Your mercy triumph over devastation.
May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
May the name of Yeshua be lifted high among the nations.
May life overcome death, hope overcome despair, and faith overcome fear.

I pray all these things with humility, faith, and expectation before Your throne of mercy.

In the mighty name of Yeshua the Messiah, amen.
