Shema Yisrael – Full Prayer
1. Shema + V’ahavta (Deuteronomy 6:4–9)

שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד׃
בָּרוּךְ שֵׁם כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתוֹ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד׃
וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל־לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל־נַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָל־מְאֹדֶךָ׃
וְהָיוּ הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיּוֹם עַל־לְבָבֶךָ׃

Transliteration
Shema Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Echad.
Baruch shem k’vod malchuto l’olam va’ed.
Ve’ahavta et Adonai Elohecha b’chol levavcha u’vchol nafshecha u’vchol me’odecha.
Vehayu hadevarim ha’eleh asher anochi metzav’cha hayom al levavecha.
Veshinantam levanecha…
Uchtavtam al mezuzot beitecha u’visharecha.
English
Hear, O Israel: the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.
Blessed is the name of His glorious kingdom forever and ever.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength…
And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and your gates.
2. V’haya Im Shamoa (Deuteronomy 11:13–21)

וְהָיָה אִם־שָׁמֹעַ תִּשְׁמְעוּ אֶל־מִצְוֹתַי...
לְאַהֲבָה אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם וּלְעָבְדוֹ בְּכָל־לְבַבְכֶם וּבְכָל־נַפְשְׁכֶם׃
וְנָתַתִּי מְטַר אַרְצְכֶם בְּעִתּוֹ...
וְשַׂמְתֶּם אֶת־דְּבָרַי אֵלֶּה עַל־לְבַבְכֶם וְעַל־נַפְשְׁכֶם...

V’haya im shamoa tishme’u el mitzvotai…
L’ahavah et Adonai Eloheichem u’le’ovdo b’chol levavchem u’vchol nafshechem.
V’natati matar artzechem b’ito…
V’samtem et devarai eleh al levavchem v’al nafshechem…
Uchtavtam al mezuzot beitecha u’visharecha.
English
And it shall be, if you diligently obey My commandments…
to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and soul.
Then I will give rain for your land in its season…
Place these words upon your heart and soul…
and write them upon the doorposts of your house and gates.
3. Vayomer (Numbers 15:37–41)

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר׃
דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל...
וְעָשׂוּ לָהֶם צִיצִת עַל־כַּנְפֵי בִגְדֵיהֶם...
וְהָיָה לָכֶם לְצִיצִת וּרְאִיתֶם אֹתוֹ וּזְכַרְתֶּם אֶת־כָּל־מִצְוֹת יְהוָה...
לְמַעַן תִּזְכְּרוּ וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֶת־כָּל־מִצְוֹתָי...

Vayomer Adonai el Moshe lemor.
Daber el Bnei Yisrael…
V’asu lahem tzitzit al kanfei vigdeihem…
V’haya lachem l’tzitzit ur’item oto uzchartem et kol mitzvot Adonai…
L’ma’an tizkeru va’asitem et kol mitzvotai…
Ani Adonai Eloheichem.
English
And the Lord said to Moses, saying:
Speak to the children of Israel…
They shall make fringes (tzitzit) on the corners of their garments…
and when you see them, you shall remember all the commandments of the Lord…
So that you may remember and perform all My commandments…
I am the Lord your God.
