Breaking The Power of Leviathan, Hidden Secrecy, Illusion and Pride - Spiritual Warfare Prayer
Avinu Malkeinu, our Father and our King,
I come before You in reverence and humility. I come before You because You alone are God, and there is none beside You. You are Hashem, the Holy One of Israel, the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who formed the seas and established the boundaries of the waters. You are exalted above every power, every principality, every throne, every hidden thing, and every work of darkness.
I lift up Your holy Name.
May Your Name be sanctified.
May Your Name be magnified.
May Your Name be glorified throughout the earth.
May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done.
I declare that the earth belongs to You and everything in it. The heavens are Yours, the earth is Yours, the seas are Yours, and everything hidden beneath the surface is known to You.
As it is written:
“The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.”
—Psalm 24:1
Avinu, I acknowledge that nothing is truly hidden from You.
What appears mysterious to me is completely visible to You.
What appears deep to me is shallow before Your omniscience.
What appears concealed is uncovered before Your eyes.
What appears powerful is subject to Your authority.
What appears expansive but is enclosed is still within Your boundaries.
What appears free but is actually confined cannot escape Your sovereignty.
Therefore, I place myself completely under Your authority.

I place my thoughts under Your authority.
I place my emotions under Your authority.

I place my decisions under Your authority.
I place my possessions under Your authority.

BREAKING THE POWER OF PRIDE
Father, I specifically bring before You the issue of spiritual pride.
Search me.
Examine me.
Correct me.
Discipline me when I need correction.
Do not allow me to hide from accountability.
Do not allow me to excuse what You are confronting.
Do not allow me to call darkness light.
Do not allow me to call deception revelation.
Do not allow me to call rebellion freedom.
Do not allow me to call pride spiritual authority.
Do not allow me to protect what You are asking me to surrender.
David prayed:
“Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.”
—Psalm 139:23–24
So I pray this over myself:
Search me, Hashem.
Search the motives beneath my actions.
Search the thoughts beneath my words.
Search the desires beneath my prayers.
Search the ambitions beneath my spiritual activity.
Search the places where I may want recognition more than obedience.
Search the places where I may want control more than surrender.
Search the places where I may want to appear strong rather than become humble.
Search the places where I may resist correction.
Search the places where I may become defensive when truth exposes me.
Search the places where I may hide behind religious language.
Search the places where I may use spiritual terminology while avoiding genuine repentance.
Father, remove this from me.
Break the power of pride over me.
Break arrogance.
Break stubbornness.
Break self-exaltation.
Break spiritual presumption.
Break the desire to control what belongs to You.
Break every agreement I have made with deception.
LEVIATHAN AND THE LANGUAGE OF SCRIPTURE
Father, Your Word speaks of Leviathan.
Your servant David declared:
“You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces.”
—Psalm 74:14
Therefore, I acknowledge that whatever Leviathan represents in Scripture, it is not beyond Your authority.
You are Creator.
You are King.
You are Judge.
You are the One who establishes boundaries.
You are the One who commands the sea.
You are the One who speaks and creation obeys.
Job records that You asked:
“Can you draw out Leviathan with a hook?”
—Job 41:1
And Job 41 reveals the terrifying greatness of this creature while simultaneously demonstrating the absolute supremacy of God over it.
Therefore I refuse to glorify Leviathan.
I refuse to magnify darkness.
I refuse to become fascinated with hidden powers.
I refuse to give fear to what Scripture places beneath Your authority.
I refuse to treat any created thing as though it were equal to its Creator.
You alone are worthy of worship.
You alone are worthy of fear.
You alone are worthy of ultimate allegiance.
You alone are King.
Your Word says concerning Leviathan:
“He beholds every high thing;
He is king over all the children of pride.”
—Job 41:34
Therefore, Father, I ask You to confront pride at its root.
Where pride has established itself in me, uproot it.
Where pride has established itself around me, protect me from participating in it.
Where secrecy has been used to preserve pride, bring truth.
Where illusion has been used to protect pride, bring light.
Where deception has been used to protect pride, establish truth.
Where fear has been used to prevent accountability, give me courage to receive correction.
Where arrogance has prevented repentance, give me humility.
Where self-deception has prevented understanding, give me discernment.
Where stubbornness has resisted Your instruction, soften my heart.
THE CASPIAN SEA AND THE LESSON OF HIDDEN DEPTHS
Father, I bring before You the imagery of the Caspian Sea—not as an object of worship, not as a source of supernatural power, but as a physical reminder of a spiritual lesson.
The Caspian Sea appears like an immense open ocean, yet it is landlocked.
It looks expansive, yet it is enclosed.
It appears open, yet its boundaries are real.
Its depths contain things invisible from the surface.
Its waters conceal what cannot be seen by simply looking across them.
Father, let this imagery teach me discernment.
Teach me never to judge spiritual reality merely by appearances.
Teach me not to assume that something is free simply because it looks expansive.
Teach me not to assume that something is truthful simply because it sounds spiritual.
Teach me not to assume that something is pure simply because it appears impressive.
Teach me not to assume that something is from You simply because it possesses power, beauty, mystery, or influence.
Yeshua warned:
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
—Matthew 24:24
Therefore, Father, anchor me in truth.
Keep me from counterfeit revelation.
Keep me from counterfeit spirituality.
Keep me from counterfeit authority.
Keep me from counterfeit miracles.
Keep me from counterfeit wisdom.
Keep me from counterfeit identity.
Keep me from counterfeit freedom.
Keep me from counterfeit prosperity.
Keep me from counterfeit peace.
Let me test everything against Your revealed Word.
Let my foundation be truth rather than spectacle.
Let my confidence be in You rather than mysterious experiences.
Let my discernment be governed by Your Word rather than fascination with hidden things.
BREAKING SECRECY AND ILLUSION
Avinu, I ask You to expose whatever needs to be exposed.
Yeshua said:
“For there is nothing covered which will not be revealed, and hidden which will not be known.”
—Matthew 10:26
Therefore, I ask for divine exposure—not for destruction, humiliation, or revenge, but for truth, repentance, righteousness, and restoration.
Let hidden deception be exposed.
Let hidden manipulation be exposed.
Let hidden pride be exposed.
Let hidden bitterness be exposed.
Let hidden motives be exposed.
Let hidden agreements with falsehood be exposed.
Let hidden compromises be exposed.
Let hidden idols be exposed.
Let hidden fears be exposed.
Let hidden attachments be exposed.
Let hidden counterfeit beliefs be exposed.
Let hidden spiritual confusion be exposed.
Let hidden patterns of self-deception be exposed.
And when You expose something in me, Father, give me grace not to run from the light.
Give me courage to repent.
Give me humility to change.
Give me wisdom to receive correction.
Give me strength to make restitution where necessary.
Give me patience to rebuild what has been damaged.
Give me discernment to distinguish conviction from condemnation.
THE SHIELD OF YESHUA'S BLOOD
Father, I come under the covenantal protection You provide through Your Messiah, Yeshua.
I place myself beneath the shield of Yeshua's blood.
I confess that my hope is not in my own righteousness.
My confidence is not in my own strength.
My protection is not in magical formulas.
My victory is not in human power.
My refuge is in You.

Father, refine me.

THE LORD'S AUTHORITY OVER THE SEA
Hashem, I remember that the waters themselves obey Your command.
You asked Job:
“Or who shut in the sea with doors,
When it burst forth and issued from the womb?”
—Job 38:8
You established boundaries for the waters.
You rule what appears uncontrollable.
You rule what appears immeasurable.
You rule what appears mysterious.
Therefore, I declare that no spiritual symbolism connected with the sea is greater than You.
No hidden depth is deeper than Your wisdom.
No darkness is darker than Your light.
No deception is cleverer than Your truth.
No counterfeit is stronger than Your reality.
No principality is sovereign.
No created power is God.
Hashem alone is God.
YESHUA AND THE STORM
I remember Yeshua's authority over the sea.
When His disciples were frightened by the storm, Yeshua arose and rebuked the wind and the sea.
Matthew records:
“Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.”

Therefore, I look to Yeshua—not to the storm.
I look to Yeshua—not to the waves.
I look to Yeshua—not to the depths.
I look to Yeshua—not to hidden powers.
I look to Yeshua—not to fear.
I look to Yeshua—not to deception.
I look to Yeshua, the Messiah, whom You sent.
Let His authority bring calm into every storm surrounding me.
Let His truth silence every lie.
Let His presence expose every illusion.
Let His teachings establish my thinking.
Let His commandments shape my obedience.
Let His example teach me humility.
Let His words become an anchor for my soul.
BREAKING THE CYCLE OF SELF-DECEPTION
Father, I ask You to save me from the most dangerous form of deception: deception that I cannot recognize because I have deceived myself.
Do not allow me to become spiritually proud while believing I am spiritually mature.
Do not allow me to become judgmental while believing I am discerning.
Do not allow me to become controlling while believing I am exercising authority.
Do not allow me to become harsh while believing I am defending truth.
Do not allow me to become suspicious while believing I am spiritually vigilant.
Do not allow me to become fascinated with darkness while believing I am studying spiritual warfare.
Do not allow me to become obsessed with hidden things while neglecting the plainly revealed things of Your Word.
Teach me to love what You love.
Teach me to hate what You hate.
Teach me to walk humbly before You.
As Micah declares:
“What does the LORD require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?”
—Micah 6:8
Father, make this the pattern of my life.
Justice.
Mercy.
Humility.
BREAKING FALSE FREEDOM
Father, the image of a landlocked sea reminds me that appearances can deceive.
I ask You to reveal every place where I have mistaken confinement for freedom.
If something appears expansive but continually produces bondage, show me.
If something appears spiritual but continually produces pride, show me.
If something appears liberating but continually produces fear, show me.
If something appears powerful but continually produces deception, show me.
If something appears prophetic but contradicts Your revealed truth, show me.
If something appears like revelation but produces disorder, confusion, arrogance, or self-exaltation, teach me to step back and examine it.
Yeshua said:
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Therefore, Father, make me free through truth.

Father, I ask that Your light penetrate every hidden depth.

Instead, I glorify You.

If I have built an altar to influence, tear it down.
If I have built an altar to knowledge, tear it down.
If I have built an altar to spiritual experiences, tear it down.
If I have built an altar to self-reliance, tear it down.
Let nothing compete with Your throne.
