The Law Of God: Bible Course: 6 Day Bible Study Plan
Goal: To gain a well-rounded understanding of God's law by studying different sections of Scripture each day.
Structure: 6 days of study, 1 day of rest (Shabbat).
Suggested Study Time: 30 minutes to 1 hour per day, depending on depth of study and meditation.
Day 1: The Foundation of the Law (Torah)
Reading: Exodus 19-20 (Giving of the Ten Commandments)
Reflection: What does God require of His people?
Application Question: Which commandment speaks to you the most, and how can you live it out today?
Day 2: Obedience & Rebellion (Prophets)
Reading: Jeremiah 7 (Warning about false trust in the Temple)
Reflection: How does Israel’s failure to obey teach us today?
Application Question: In what ways might people trust in religious rituals while neglecting obedience to God?
Day 3: Walking in Righteousness (Writings)
Reading: Psalm 119:1-24 (Love for God’s law)
Reflection: Why does the psalmist delight in the law?
Application Question: How can you develop a deeper love for God’s commandments?
Day 4: Yeshua’s Teachings on the Law (Gospels)
Reading: Matthew 5:17-20 (Yeshua and the Law)
Reflection: How did Yeshua affirm and fulfill the law?
Application Question: What does it mean for you personally that Yeshua did not come to abolish the law?
Day 5: Consequences of Disobedience (History & Prophets)
Reading: 2 Kings 17 (Israel’s exile due to disobedience)
Reflection: What warnings should we take seriously today?
Application Question: How can you ensure that you remain faithful to God and not repeat the mistakes of Israel?
Day 6: Wisdom for Daily Living (Writings)
Reading: Proverbs 3:1-12 (Trusting in the Lord and keeping His commands)
Reflection: How does obedience lead to blessings?
Application Question: How can you apply these principles of wisdom to your life this week?
Shabbat (Day of Rest)
Purpose: A time for reflection, prayer, and rest from structured study.
Optional Activity: Review key lessons from the week, pray over insights gained, and enjoy a peaceful day in God’s presence.
