Prayer For Those In Prison For God To Set Them Free

Prayer For Those In Prison For God To Set Them Free

“Let the Captives Go Free: A Cry for Deliverance from the Depths”

Prayer:

Abba, my Father in Heaven,

HaShem El Elyon—Most High God—

I come before You with trembling lips and a burdened heart,

For those still behind the bars of man and the chains of darkness.

You are the God who sees. You are the God who hears.

And I cry out to You today—set the captives free!

Father, You who delivered me,

Stretch out Your mighty hand once again.

Let Your arm not grow weary!

Let Your mercy not be withheld!

Remember, HaShem, the souls sitting in prison cells—

Those forgotten by men but not forgotten by You.

Those who have cried into the silence,

Who have hungered for justice, for mercy, for truth, for light.

I ask You, in the name of Yeshua,

The Lamb who takes away the sin of the world,

Let the fire of Your holiness break through every iron gate.

Let the shield of His blood cover those who are surrounded by enemies.

Let Your name be glorified in their deliverance!

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind,

to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

—Luke 4:18–19

I believe, Father, that Your Kingdom is not confined to walls,

Not hindered by prison gates or locked doors.

I believe You still move with power,

That You still raise the dead and unbind the prisoner.

Let Your light invade the darkness of every cell.

Let Your truth reach the innermost place where no man can go.

Let the prisoners awake to Your voice calling them by name!

You alone can change a heart,

You alone can raise up leaders in the lowest places.

I ask You, HaShem, transform prisoners into prophets.

Transform convicts into covenant-keepers.

Raise up warriors from the ashes of despair.

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

—Psalm 34:18

Let the fire of God fall in those cells tonight.

Let visions be released. Let angels be dispatched.

Let dreams be given, warnings sent, hope restored.

Where curses have ruled, establish blessing.

Where gang alliances have formed, bring repentance and revival.

I plead the blood of Yeshua over every prison in this nation and across the earth.

Let the blood that speaks better things than vengeance speak over these places.

Let judgment be swallowed in mercy for those who repent.

Let Your justice prevail, and let no wickedness stand.

For You are both Judge and Deliverer, both Consuming Fire and Tender Shepherd.

Let the shackles of shame fall.

Let the walls of bitterness break.

Let every lie of the enemy be exposed and crushed.

Let Your Torah go forth even behind bars,

And let captives become students of Your Word.

HaShem, I don’t pray for release only in the flesh—

But I ask You for spiritual release!

Deliver them from demonic bondage.

Deliver them from addiction, anger, revenge, hopelessness, and self-hatred.

Set the captives free by the truth of Your Word and the power of Your Spirit!

“The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?

The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”

—Psalm 27:1

Abba, let it be for Your glory!

Let every miracle behind prison walls become a testimony that echoes across the nations!

Let family members see the transformation and turn their hearts to You.

Let judges, guards, wardens, and police witness the impossible and believe.

Let the name of Yeshua be exalted in every correctional facility.

You alone are worthy.

You alone are mighty to save.

You alone give new names to the condemned,

And new hope to the crushed in spirit.

Let Your Kingdom expand, O Father!

Let the fire of Your presence awaken sons and daughters in dungeons.

Let praise rise from concrete floors and cold bunks.

Let Your justice and mercy embrace in the inner court of their hearts.

“He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains.”

—Psalm 107:14

Raise up chaplains with boldness and truth.

Protect every soul who seeks You in secret.

Let revival break out even in solitary confinement!

Let not one who is Yours remain lost.

I give You glory, HaShem. I give You honor.

Because You are the One who delivered me, and You are no respecter of persons.

What You did for me, You can do for many more.

You are the God of the Exodus,

The God who makes a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

So come, Father. Come into the prisons.

Come into the hearts. Come into the hopeless places.

Come in fire. Come in love. Come in power.

Come, and be glorified!

In the name of Yeshua the Messiah,

The Lion of Judah, the Defender of the weak, the Redeemer of the lost,

I pray and believe.

Amen. Amen. Amen.
