5-Ingredient Kosher Chicken Pot Pie
Serves: 4–6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients
-
2 cups cooked, shredded kosher chicken (leftover roasted chicken works beautifully)
-
1 can (about 15 oz) mixed vegetables, drained (or frozen, thawed)
-
1 can (about 10.5 oz) kosher pareve cream of chicken soup (look for certified kosher and dairy-free)
-
1 tsp kosher seasoning salt (or your favorite blend like garlic, onion, and paprika)
-
1 package (2 sheets) kosher puff pastry or pie crust, thawed
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Mix filling: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, and seasoning salt. Stir until well blended.
-
Assemble pie: Lay one pastry sheet or pie crust in a greased 9-inch pie dish. Pour the filling inside and spread evenly. Cover with the second pastry sheet, sealing the edges.
-
Vent crust: Cut 4–5 small slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
-
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and flaky.
-
Cool slightly before serving to allow filling to set.
