Prayer For The Dedication Of Offerings | Messianic Jewish Prayer
Prayer:
Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King, I come before You today in humility and reverence. With my whole heart, I lift this offering to You, HaShem, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. All that I have comes from You, for it is written: “The earth is Adonai’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (Psalm 24:1).
I do not bring this offering by compulsion, but willingly, as it is written: “Tell the Israelites to bring Me an offering. You are to receive the offering for Me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give” (Exodus 25:2). Father, my heart is stirred to give, because You have first given to me.
HaShem, I lay this gift upon Your altar, covering it under the shield of the blood of Yeshua, the Lamb who was slain for my redemption. Yeshua declared: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). Through His atonement, I am covered, and I now dedicate this offering with confidence, knowing it is received in righteousness through Him.
Let the fire of Your presence, O God, sanctify this offering. For it is written: “For Adonai your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 4:24). Burn away every impure motive in me—selfishness, fear, pride—and let what remains be only devotion, gratitude, and love.
Father, I ask that this offering glorify Your great Name. May it not be for my gain, but for the expansion of Your Kingdom. Yeshua taught us to pray: “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). May these gifts be used to spread Your light, feed the hungry, clothe the poor, strengthen the weak, and proclaim the Good News of Messiah to Israel and the nations.
HaShem, I remember the words of Your Torah: “Honor Adonai with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will brim over with new wine” (Proverbs 3:9–10). I honor You now with this offering, not to earn blessing, but because You are worthy of honor. I trust You to provide, for You are my Shepherd, my Rock, and my Sustainer.
Yeshua, You said: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap” (Luke 6:38). I give today in faith, believing that Your words are truth. May this seed be multiplied, not only in material provision, but in righteousness, in justice, in mercy, and in the spreading of Your Kingdom on earth.
Avinu, I long for You to be glorified. May this offering be as incense rising before Your throne. May the shield of Yeshua’s blood protect it from the adversary. May the fire of Your Spirit ignite it for holy purposes. And may every soul touched by this gift turn their eyes to You, and give glory to the God of Israel.
HaShem, may my life itself become an offering. As I dedicate these resources, I also dedicate my time, my voice, my hands, and my heart. Use me as You will. Shape me into a vessel that honors You. Let every act of generosity, every prayer, and every offering I bring testify that You alone are King, that Yeshua is Messiah, and that Your Kingdom is eternal.
I seal this prayer in the mighty Name above all names.
B’shem Yeshua HaMashiach, Amen.
