  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Prepare the chicken: Pat chicken legs completely dry with paper towels. This is key for crispy skin.

  3. Season: In a bowl, toss chicken legs with oil until lightly coated. Sprinkle all seasonings evenly over the chicken and rub in well.

  4. Arrange: Place chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.

  5. Cook:

    • Air fry at 380°F for 12 minutes

    • Flip chicken legs

    • Cook an additional 10–14 minutes, until golden and crisp

  6. Check doneness: Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part.

  7. Rest: Let chicken rest for 3–5 minutes before serving to lock in juices.
