Prayer For Protection of Family - A Messianic Jewish Prayer of Covering, Fire, and Kingdom Authority
Avinu Malkeinu—our Father, our King,
HaShem, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
I come before You in humility and reverent awe.
I lift my voice not only for myself, but for my household, for my children, for generations yet unborn. I stand before You as a son/daughter of the covenant, trusting not in my own strength, but in Your Name, Your promises, and Your mercy that endures forever.
HaShem, You are my refuge and my strong tower.
As it is written:
> “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” (Proverbs 18:10)
Today, I deliberately place my family under Your holy covering. I ask that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done—in our home, in our relationships, in our thoughts, and in our future—through Yeshua the Messiah, whom You sent in love and power.
Yeshua, You taught us to pray:
> “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:9–10)
So today I align my family with heaven.
Let Your Kingdom expand through us.
Let our home become holy ground.
Let Your Name be glorified in every room, every conversation, every decision.
---
HaShem, I ask for protection—complete and uncompromising protection.
Protection of body, soul, and spirit.
Protection from seen and unseen dangers.
Protection from fear, confusion, division, sickness, deception, and the schemes of the enemy.
As You promised in Your Word:
> “The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever.” (Psalm 121:8)
Guard our coming in and our going out.
Guard our sleep and our waking.
Guard our minds from anxiety and our hearts from despair.
Station Your angels around us, as You have declared:
> “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11)
---
I place the shield of Yeshua’s blood over my family.
Over our doorposts, like the days of Pesach.
Over our minds, like a crown of redemption.
Over our hearts, like a seal that cannot be broken.
Just as You said through Moshe:
> “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” (Exodus 12:13)
May every force of destruction pass over us.
May every assignment of darkness be canceled.
May the blood of the Lamb speak mercy, protection, and victory over our household.
Yeshua, You are our Good Shepherd:
> “The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” (John 10:11)
Because You laid down Your life, I trust You with mine—and with my family’s lives.
---
HaShem, release the fire of God around us.
Let Your holy fire surround our home as a wall.
Let it burn away impurity, fear, and every unclean influence.
Let it refine us, not consume us.
Let it be light in darkness and warmth in the cold places of our hearts.
As You declared:
> “For I, says the LORD, will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.” (Zechariah 2:5)
Be a wall of fire around my family.
Be the glory within us.
Let Your presence be tangible—felt, honored, and revered.
---
HaShem, unite my family in love and truth.
Break every generational curse and replace it with covenant blessing.
Heal what has been wounded.
Restore what has been broken.
Teach us to walk in humility, forgiveness, and obedience.
As Yeshua prayed:
> “That they may all be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You.” (John 17:21)
Make our family one—
One in purpose,
One in faith,
One in love for You.
---
Let Your light shine through us, Father.
Not for our glory, but for Yours.
Let our family be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Let our lives point others to the Messiah.
As Yeshua said:
> “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
May everything we do bring You glory.
May Your Name—HaShem—be honored through our obedience.
May Your Kingdom expand through our faithfulness in Yeshua.
---
I declare trust, not fear.
I declare faith, not anxiety.
I declare blessing, not destruction.
As it is written:
> “Choose life, that you and your descendants may live.” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Today I choose life for my family.
I choose covenant.
I choose Messiah.
I choose trust in You alone.
---
Avinu Malkeinu,
Be glorified in our home.
Be exalted in our lives.
Be known through our love.
Let Your Kingdom come—through Yeshua—starting with my family and reaching the ends of the earth.
I seal this prayer with faith, gratitude, and surrender,
In Yeshua’s holy and powerful Name.
Amen.
