Prayer For Money To Do Good Work - Messianic Jewish Prayer
Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King,
HaShem, Holy One of Israel,
I come before You in humility and awe, acknowledging that You alone are the source of life, breath, wisdom, and provision. The earth is Yours and everything in it, as it is written: “The earth is the LORD’s and all that fills it, the world and those who dwell in it” (Psalm 24:1). I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that all I have comes from Your gracious hand.
Heavenly Father, I ask not for wealth to exalt myself, but for provision entrusted to me so that good work may be done in Your Name. Shape my heart so that money never becomes my master, but remains a servant of Your purposes. Your Son Yeshua warned us, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15). Guard me, HaShem, from greed, pride, and fear, and fill me instead with faith, generosity, and holy obedience.
I ask You, O God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to place resources into my hands that will advance Your Kingdom and relieve suffering. Let every dollar be directed by Your Ruach, purified by the shield of Yeshua’s blood, and ignited by the fire of God for righteous purposes. As it is written in the Torah, “You shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may confirm His covenant” (Deuteronomy 8:18). I remember You now, HaShem, and I dedicate all increase back to You.
Father, teach me to honor You with what You entrust to me. Your word says, “Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty” (Proverbs 3:9–10). May my giving be joyful, faithful, and timely. Let my hands be open to the poor, the stranger, the widow, the orphan, and the broken, fulfilling what You have spoken through the prophets: “If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness” (Isaiah 58:10).
Yeshua, Messiah of Israel, align my heart with Yours. You taught us plainly, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth… but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (Matthew 6:19–20). I choose heavenly treasure. I choose obedience. I choose to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting Your promise that “all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).
HaShem, if You entrust me with much, make me faithful with much. If You entrust me with little, make me faithful with little. Let my stewardship testify of Your goodness. Let the resources You provide feed the hungry, clothe the naked, welcome the stranger, and uplift the weary, just as Yeshua said: “I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink” (Matthew 25:35). May my finances become a living offering of compassion and justice.
I ask that You cleanse every financial decision I make under the shield of Yeshua’s blood. Burn away selfish motives with the holy fire of God. Let integrity, wisdom, and discernment guide every step. Establish the work of my hands, not for my name, but so that the Father may be glorified and Your Kingdom expanded throughout the earth.
HaShem, be magnified through provision that heals, restores, and builds. Let money flow not as an idol, but as a river of blessing directed by Your will. May people see the good works done through these resources and give glory to You alone.
I surrender all outcomes to You, trusting Your faithfulness and Your timing. I receive Your provision with gratitude, and I release it with obedience, joy, and love.
I pray all these things, for the glory of the Father and the advancement of His Kingdom,
in Yeshua’s name. Amen.
