Prayer For Strength When Tired - Messianic Jewish Prayer
Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King,
I come before You in my weariness, calling upon the holy and precious name of HaShem. You see my weakness before I speak it; You know the heaviness in my body, the fatigue in my soul, and the quiet exhaustion in my spirit. Yet even here, I choose to lift my eyes to You, for my help comes from You alone—the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1–2).
Father, I ask that You be glorified in me even when I am tired. Let my weakness become a place where Your strength is revealed, where Your Kingdom expands through Yeshua, the Messiah. I do not come trusting in my own endurance, but resting beneath the shield of Yeshua’s blood, which covers me, protects me, and speaks mercy and victory over my life.
HaShem, You are the One who gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the faint. As it is written:
“He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power… yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles” (Isaiah 40:29, 31).
I wait for You now. I lean into You. Renew me from the inside out.
Yeshua, You said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28–29). I come to You just as I am—tired, empty, and in need. I receive Your rest, not as the world gives, but as heaven gives.
Father, let the fire of God burn within me—not a fire that consumes me in exhaustion, but a holy fire that refines, revives, and restores. Rekindle joy where tiredness has dimmed it. Rekindle hope where fatigue has tried to settle in. Let Your fire strengthen my hands, steady my heart, and renew my vision so I may continue to walk in obedience and faithfulness.
HaShem, You are my shepherd; I lack nothing. You make me lie down in green pastures, You lead me beside still waters, and You restore my soul (Psalm 23:1–3). Restore me now, Father. Restore my mind, restore my body, restore my spirit. Even when I walk through valleys of weariness, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.
Yeshua, You are the true vine, and I am utterly dependent on You. As You said, “Apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). I acknowledge my dependence on You now. Fill me again with Your life, Your strength, and Your Spirit, so that Your fruit may continue to grow in me for the glory of the Father.
Let Your Kingdom expand through my perseverance, even when I feel tired. Let my continued faith be a testimony. Let my obedience, even in weakness, bring honor to Your name. May others see Your sustaining power at work in me and glorify You, HaShem, the faithful and everlasting God.
Father, guard me with peace and light, for Yeshua declared, “I am the light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life” (John 8:12). Shine Your light into every place of heaviness and lead me forward with renewed strength.
I place myself fully under the shield of Yeshua’s blood, and I receive Your rest, Your power, and Your sustaining grace. Be glorified in my rising and in my resting, in my labor and in my stillness. Let all that I am and all that I do bring glory to You, and may Your Kingdom continue to advance through Yeshua the Messiah.
I pray all of this with trust, humility, and expectation, in Yeshua’s name. Amen.
