Prayer Of Intercession For The Family- Messianic Jewish Prayer
Avinu Malkeinu, our Father and our King,
I come before You in humility and awe, lifting my family before Your holy throne. HaShem, You are One, righteous and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. May Your great Name be sanctified in our home, in our generations, and in all the earth. Let my life and my family be a dwelling place for Your glory, that Your Kingdom would expand through Yeshua the Messiah.
Father in heaven, I stand in the gap for my family as an intercessor. I ask not for my will, but Yours alone to be done, just as Yeshua taught us: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). Let heaven’s order, peace, and holiness rest upon every relationship, every conversation, and every decision within my family.
HaShem, place the shield of Yeshua’s blood around us. Cover our minds, our hearts, our bodies, and our homes. Let the blood of the Lamb speak a better word over my family—mercy instead of judgment, life instead of death, redemption instead of destruction. As it is written, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you” (Exodus 12:13). Let every assignment of the enemy be silenced and turned back, and let no weapon formed against my family prosper.
I ask, Holy Father, that the fire of God would fall upon my family—not to consume us in fear, but to purify us in love. Burn away bitterness, pride, hidden sin, and generational wounds. Ignite hearts with devotion to You. As Your Word declares, “For You are a consuming fire” (Deuteronomy 4:24). Let Your holy fire refine us until what remains is pleasing in Your sight.
HaShem, I ask that You would establish my family in truth and faithfulness. Teach us to fear Your Name and to walk in Your ways. Let Your Word be alive in our home, as it is written: “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15). May our family be rooted and grounded in love, standing firm through every storm.
Father, I intercede for unity within my family. Where there has been division, bring reconciliation. Where there has been silence, bring healing words. Where there has been misunderstanding, release Your wisdom. Yeshua prayed, “That they may all be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You” (John 17:21). Let that same oneness flow through my family, reflecting Your heart to the world.
I lift up each generation before You—children, parents, grandparents, and those yet unborn. Pour out Your Spirit upon us, as You promised: “I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh” (Joel 2:28). Let our children walk in truth and find delight in Your commandments. Guard them from deception and draw them close to Yeshua, who said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them” (Matthew 19:14).
HaShem, be our refuge and our strong tower. When fear tries to enter our home, let Your perfect love cast it out. As David declared, “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1). Let peace reign in our hearts, the peace Yeshua promised when He said, “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you” (John 14:27).
I ask, Father, that our family would be a light to others, a testimony of Your faithfulness and grace. Let our love for one another reveal Yeshua to those around us, just as He said: “By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). May our home be a place of welcome, prayer, and compassion.
HaShem, glorify Yourself in my family. Be exalted in our successes and trusted in our trials. Let everything we are and everything we do bring honor to Your Name. As it is written, “Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your Name give glory” (Psalm 115:1). May Your Kingdom come through Yeshua in our family, touching our community and extending to the ends of the earth.
I seal this prayer with thanksgiving and faith, trusting that You hear and answer according to Your perfect will. I declare that You are faithful to keep covenant and mercy to a thousand generations of those who love You and keep Your commandments.
I offer this prayer with reverence, hope, and expectation,
in Yeshua’s name. Amen.
