Below is a kosher healing recipe for a homemade version of Longhorn Steakhouse’s Parmesan Crusted Chicken – adjusted to be kosher (no meat + dairy together) while keeping the flavors rich, comforting, and nourishing for the body


✨ Dairy and chicken can’t be mixed in kosher cooking, so here’s a parve healing twist using chicken with a creamy non-dairy parmesan-style crust. It’s packed with flavor, comfort, and healing herbs.



Ingredients


For the chicken:


4 boneless, skinless kosher chicken breasts


2 Tbsp olive oil (healing for digestion, rich in antioxidants)


2 cloves garlic, minced (immune-boosting)


1 tsp turmeric (anti-inflammatory)


1 tsp paprika


½ tsp black pepper


1 tsp kosher salt

1 cup kosher panko breadcrumbs


½ cup non-dairy parmesan-style cheese (Violife, Daiya, or homemade cashew parmesan)


2 Tbsp nutritional yeast (adds cheesy flavor + B vitamins for healing energy)


2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (healing + cleansing)


½ tsp dried oregano


½ tsp dried basil


2 Tbsp olive oil (to crisp up the topping)



Optional Creamy Glaze (instead of ranch):


½ cup unsweetened cashew cream or plain non-dairy yogurt


1 Tbsp lemon juice


½ tsp garlic powder


½ tsp onion powder


Pinch of dill or chives



Directions


1. Prepare the chicken:


Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).


Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic, turmeric, paprika, pepper, salt, and lemon juice.


Sear in a hot skillet for 3 minutes per side to lock in juices.




2. Make the crust:


In a bowl, mix panko, non-dairy parmesan, nutritional yeast, parsley, oregano, basil, and olive oil.




3. Bake:


Place seared chicken in a baking dish.


Spread a thin layer of the optional creamy glaze on each piece (helps crumbs stick).


Top generously with the parmesan breadcrumb mixture.


Bake 15–20 minutes until chicken is cooked through (165°F inside) and crust is golden brown.




4. Serve:


Garnish with extra parsley and a squeeze of lemon.


Serve alongside roasted vegetables, a healing Israeli chopped herb salad, or quinoa for balance.
