Closing Prayer For Rosh Hashanah | Magnifying HaShem Through Yeshua

Closing Prayer For Rosh Hashanah |  Magnifying HaShem Through Yeshua

Avinu Malkeinu,

My Father and my King,

On this closing of Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets, I lift my voice before Your throne. Let every breath in me cry out: “Baruch Shem Kevod Malchuto le’olam va’ed — Blessed be the Name of the glory of His Kingdom forever and ever.”

HaShem, You are holy, and You are clothed in majesty. You are the beginning and the end, the Aleph and the Tav. As the shofar has sounded these days, my heart trembles before You, remembering that You are Judge of all the earth, and yet, in Your mercy, You have provided atonement through the blood of the Lamb, Yeshua HaMashiach.

Yeshua said: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). And so, Father, I cry out: let my life, my family, and my community shine with Your light. May everything in me bring kavod (glory) to Your great Name.

I come under the shield of Yeshua’s blood — the atoning covering, the protection over my soul, my body, and my spirit. Just as the blood of the lamb in Egypt covered Israel from the destroyer, so now the eternal blood of Yeshua shields me from the accuser, from sin, from death, and from judgment. Father, look upon me through that holy covering, and see not my sin, but the righteousness of the One You sent.

As it is written: “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). And again: “The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” (Mark 2:10). I receive His forgiveness afresh on this holy day.

HaShem, let the fire of Your Ruach HaKodesh burn in me. As the prophet said: “Is not My word like fire?” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29). Burn away my pride, my idols, my hidden faults, my hardness of heart. Let the fire of God consume the enemies of Your Kingdom — every lie, every chain, every work of darkness.

And Yeshua promised: “You shall receive power when the Ruach HaKodesh has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me” (Acts 1:8). Father, fill me anew with Your Spirit’s fire, that I might proclaim the greatness of Yeshua to the nations, starting with my own home and community.

You declared long ago: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14). Father, let this word come alive in my generation! May every trumpet blast over these days echo into eternity as a call to repentance, a call to awakening, a call to return to You through Yeshua, Your Anointed One.

I pray for Israel, my people, that the veil may be lifted. As it is written: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey’” (Zechariah 9:9; fulfilled in Matthew 21:5). Father, open eyes to see Yeshua as Mashiach, the Hope of Israel, and the Light to the nations.

And I pray for the nations, that every tribe, tongue, and people may hear the shofar blast of Your Kingdom, and come into the joy of salvation. Yeshua said: “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). Father, hasten that day, when all nations shall bow before You and declare: “The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!” (1 Kings 18:39).

Let Your Kingdom expand like leaven in the dough, as Yeshua taught, until every corner of the earth is filled with Your righteousness. Let the shield of Yeshua’s blood defend Your people. Let the fire of God refine Your congregation. Let the glory of the Father cover the earth.

And so, HaShem, at the close of this Feast of Trumpets, I lift up my heart in worship, declaring that all honor, all power, all blessing belong to You alone.

As Yeshua prayed: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:9–10).

Yes, Abba, let it be so. Glorify Your Name through Your Son. Glorify Your Son that He may glorify You. Glorify Yourself in me, in Israel, and in the nations.

I seal this prayer in the blood of Yeshua, under His shield and covering, and with the fire of Your Spirit.

B’shem Yeshua HaMashiach — in Yeshua’s holy Name,

Amen.
