Prayer To End Rosh Hashanah, The Feast Of Trumpets | Prayer Of Trumpets & Kingdom Fire

Prayer To End Rosh Hashanah, The Feast Of Trumpets | Prayer Of Trumpets & Kingdom Fire

Heavenly Father, HaShem, the Eternal One who was, and is, and is to come, I come before You as this Day of Trumpets draws to a close.

The shofar’s blast still echoes in my soul, a sacred sound that stirs the depths of my spirit, calling me to remembrance, to repentance, and to a fierce, unwavering hope.

You are the King of the Universe, and my heart’s deepest cry on this holy day is for Your Kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

As I stand in this moment between the year that is past and the year that is to come, I am overwhelmed by Your majesty. The prophet Isaiah saw You high and lifted up, and the train of Your robe filled the temple. The seraphim called out, “Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, HaShem Tzva'ot; the whole earth is full of His glory.”

Father, I join that eternal chorus. Be glorified! Let Your name be exalted above every name. Let the knowledge of Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. May every breath I take, every word I speak in the coming year, be a trumpet blast proclaiming Your holiness.

And I know, Abba, that I can only approach Your terrifying and wonderful holiness because of Your Son, my Messiah and Redeemer, Yeshua of Nazareth. I plead the shield of Yeshua’s blood over my life, over my family, over Your people Israel, and over all who call upon His name.

It is His sacrifice, the ultimate Akedah, that stands as my protection. When the accuser comes, when the memories of my failures on this Yom HaDin, this Day of Judgment, rise up against me, I point to the blood of the Lamb. It is my seal, my mark of redemption.

As the blood on the doorposts in Egypt caused the destroyer to pass over, so the eternal blood of Yeshua causes Your wrath to pass over me. In its shadow, I am safe, I am clean, I am Yours.

But Father, this protection is not for comfort alone; it is for conquest. Your Kingdom must expand! You promised through Your prophet Daniel that the God of heaven would set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall it be left to another people.

It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever. I pray for the explosive, unstoppable expansion of that Kingdom through the revelation of Yeshua HaMashiach. As Yeshua told His disciples, “The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom.”

Let the good seed be sown in every nation, tribe, and tongue. Let the harvest of souls be immense, a great ingathering of the righteous into Your barn.

Send now the fire of Your presence, Ruach HaKodesh! Elijah called down fire from heaven to reveal that You are God. Let Your fire fall again—not to consume, but to purify, to ignite, to empower.

Yeshua said, “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” Father, kindle that fire in me! Burn away the chaff of my apathy, my fear, and my sin. Let Your holy fire fall upon Your Messianic remnant, that we would be a beacon to Israel and a light to the Gentiles. May our lives be living sacrifices, holy and acceptable, consumed by the fire of Your love and Your zeal for Your great name.

As the shofar is the sound of proclamation, let our lives be the sound. As the shofar is a call to battle, let us be Your warriors in the spirit. As the shofar announces the coronation of a king, let every blast from this day forward declare, “Crown Him! Crown Yeshua as King of kings and Lord of lords!”

May the eyes of my Jewish brothers and sisters be opened to see their Messiah, the one of whom Moses and the prophets wrote. May the veil be lifted, and may they behold the glory of God in the face of Yeshua.

HaShem, my Strength and my Redeemer, as I take the first steps into this new year, I do so with my feet shod with the readiness of the gospel of peace, my heart guarded by the shield of Yeshua’s blood, and my spirit ablaze with Your fire.

I ask for none of this for my own sake, but for the sake of Your holy name. Let Your Kingdom expand through me, in spite of me. Let every triumph, every healed heart, every soul brought into the light, redound to Your glory and Yours alone.

For Yours is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

In the name of Yeshua HaMashiach, I pray.
