Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
3 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Prepare the Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.
3. Season the Chicken: Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over each chicken piece. Optionally, marinate for 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
4. Bake: Place chicken in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden.
5. Rest and Serve: Let chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
Chef’s Tip: For a crispier finish, broil the chicken for the last 2–3 minutes of baking.
