The Prophetic Cry That Connects Jacob To Yeshua—And To You
I Will Wait for Your Salvation – Genesis 49:18
There are moments in life when all striving must cease, and the only posture left is waiting. Jacob, near the end of his life, declared, “I wait for Your salvation, O LORD.” These were not words of weakness but of faith. To wait for Adonai’s salvation is to trust that His deliverance will come at the right time, in the right way, through His promises fulfilled in Yeshua.
Waiting is not passive; it is an act of worship. It is declaring that the Holy One of Israel is greater than our fears, stronger than our battles, and more faithful than our doubts. The world urges us to grasp for control, but Scripture calls us to release our burdens into the hands of the Eternal One. As we wait, we are refined, strengthened, and prepared to see His salvation revealed.
Messiah Yeshua is our assurance that waiting is never in vain. Just as Israel longed for redemption, so we too can rest in the hope that every delay is a divine preparation for glory. Today, lift your eyes above the chaos and anchor your heart in His faithfulness. Salvation is not only coming—it has already come in Yeshua, and it will be revealed in fullness when He returns.
Prayer:
Abba, I choose to wait on You with faith and expectation. Strengthen my heart when I grow weary and remind me that Your salvation is sure. May I rest in the victory already secured through Yeshua, and may my waiting bring honor to Your Name. Amen.
