Bible Verse
“Yeshua wept.” — John 11:35
Reflection
These two simple words hold endless depth. Yeshua, the Son of Elohim, entered into the pain of His friends and wept alongside them. He did not hide His compassion, nor did He rush past the sorrow of the moment. Instead, He showed us that the God of Israel is not distant from our grief—He is present, tender, and deeply moved by our struggles.
When we face loss, trials, or disappointments, we can take comfort in knowing Yeshua feels our pain and carries it with us. His tears remind us that our tears are seen, and our brokenness is not overlooked. And just as He turned sorrow into joy when He raised Lazarus, He promises to bring life and hope into our darkest valleys.
Prayer
Abba Father,
Thank You for sending Yeshua, who shows me Your heart of compassion. In my moments of sorrow, help me remember that I am never alone. Fill me with Your comfort, and turn my tears into testimonies of Your goodness. Strengthen my hope, and help me trust in Your unfailing love.
In Yeshua’s name, Amen.
