Prayer For The Sick- Messianic Jewish Prayer
Messianic Jewish Prayer for the Sick
Avinu Shebashamayim—my Father in Heaven,
I come before You, Hashem, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Great Physician of Israel, the One who heals all my diseases and redeems my life from the pit (Psalm 103:3–4). I lift up my heart before You in humility and faith, knowing that You see every tear, hear every cry, and hold every breath within Your hands.
Father, I come to You not only for healing, but so that You may be glorified in the midst of sickness, weakness, and uncertainty. Let Your greatness shine through my struggle. Let Your Name be exalted in my healing. Let Your Kingdom expand through my testimony, through my endurance, and through Your miraculous power revealed in me through Yeshua, Your Anointed Messiah.
Hashem, I place myself under the shield of Yeshua’s precious blood, the blood that was shed as the fulfillment of the Lamb promised from the foundation of the world. As it is written, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). Through His blood I receive covering, cleansing, and protection. Let that holy blood shield my body from further harm, shield my mind from despair, shield my spirit from fear, and shield my soul from every fiery arrow of the enemy.
Father, let the fire of God descend upon every place in my body that is afflicted.
Let Your fire purify what is unwell.
Let Your fire burn away infection, inflammation, disease, and every hidden work of darkness.
Let Your fire bring renewal and life into every cell, organ, and system.
You are the God who answered Elijah with fire from heaven (1 Kings 18:38).
You are the God who appeared to Moses in a burning bush (Exodus 3:2).
You are the God who declared, “I will be a wall of fire around her” (Zechariah 2:5).
Let that same fire surround me today.
Hashem, I cling to Your promises spoken through the prophets:
“Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you” (Isaiah 41:10).
“For I am Hashem who heals you” (Exodus 15:26).
“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength” (Isaiah 40:29).
Let these words become life within me.
Let them rise up like healing rivers.
Let them saturate my bones, my breath, and my spirit.
Father, I ask for the same compassion Yeshua showed during His time on earth.
He touched the sick and they recovered (Matthew 8:3).
He spoke the word and healing came (Matthew 8:8–13).
He lifted the weak and restored them (Mark 1:31).
He proclaimed good news to the poor, liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind (Luke 4:18).
I ask that the same healing power that flowed from Him during His earthly ministry would flow into me today.
Hashem, I seek not only physical healing but spiritual renewal.
Heal my heart where it has been wounded.
Heal my mind where fear has taken root.
Heal my soul where hope has grown thin.
Heal my spirit where heaviness has tried to settle.
Restore me according to Your goodness.
Strengthen me according to Your mercy.
Lift me up according to Your lovingkindness.
Father, I ask that my healing would be a testimony that expands Your Kingdom.
Let the world see that You are the God who heals.
Let those who witness my recovery be moved to honor You.
Let my restored strength become a light that shines before others, so that they “may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16), according to the words of Yeshua.
Hashem, You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust (Psalm 91:2).
Under Your wings I find shelter (Psalm 17:8).
You give Your angels charge over me to guard me in all my ways (Psalm 91:11).
You restore my soul and lead me beside still waters (Psalm 23:2–3).
Let these truths be as medicine to my spirit.
Strengthen me like You strengthened Moses, who proclaimed, “Hashem is my strength and my song” (Exodus 15:2).
Strengthen me like You strengthened David, who said, “It is God who arms me with strength” (Psalm 18:32).
Strengthen me like You strengthened Joshua, to whom You said, “Be strong and courageous” (Joshua 1:9).
Strengthen me like You strengthened Yeshua’s disciples, to whom He said, “Take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Let Your overcoming power rest upon me.
Let Your healing presence fill me.
Let Your glory shine through me.
Father, I surrender this illness to You.
I surrender the fear.
I surrender the uncertainty.
I surrender the timeline.
I surrender the outcome.
Take it all, Hashem.
Use it.
Redeem it.
Let none of it be wasted.
Let all of it bring You glory.
I trust You with my body.
I trust You with my recovery.
I trust You with my future.
And I declare that You, Hashem, are good.
Your mercy endures forever.
Your faithfulness reaches the heavens.
Your compassion never fails.
I seal this prayer in faith, in hope, and in obedience,
in the mighty Name of Yeshua the Messiah.
Amen.
