Prayer for Peace - Messianic Jewish Prayer
Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King,
I come before You, Hashem, with trembling and with hope, asking for Your peace to reign in my heart, in my family, in my nation, and in the world that You made and called good. I lift my voice to You because You alone are worthy, and I long for Your Name to be glorified above every other name.
Father, I remember the words of the prophets who cried out for justice and mercy, and I echo their longing:
“Adonai will give strength to His people; Adonai will bless His people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11)
I ask You today—
Let Your shalom fall on every place where fear has swallowed courage, where hatred has strangled love, where division has replaced unity, and where despair has shadowed hope.
Father, I come seeking not human strategies, not earthly power, not fleeting comfort—
but Your presence,
Your guiding hand,
Your eternal light.
Hashem, I ask that You surround me with the shield of Yeshua’s blood, the covenant covering that delivers, restores, protects, and renews. May it guard my mind from lies, my heart from fear, my spirit from heaviness, and my steps from stumbling.
Just as it is written:
“And the blood shall be a sign for you.” (Exodus 12:13)
And again, Yeshua Himself said,
“This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.” (Matthew 26:28)
Father, I thank You for the covenant that You established, the covenant that You fulfilled through Yeshua, the covenant that continues to release mercy into the world.
Let that mercy be released again today.
A Cry for Shalom in a Broken World
Hashem, You see all things.
You see the nations trembling, the wars rising, the anger burning, and the hearts of many growing cold.
But You also see the quiet cries of those who long for You, those who seek Your face, those who are calling out for light in the middle of a darkening world.
I stand before You on their behalf, and on my own behalf, asking…
Let peace flow like a river through every broken place.
Let healing spread like dawn over every wounded land.
Let truth rise like a trumpet over every deceitful word.
Let Your Kingdom come, not by force but by transformation—
through the compassion, authority, and salvation of Yeshua HaMashiach.
For He Himself said,
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9)
And again He said,
“My peace I give to you… not as the world gives.” (John 14:27)
Adonai, I need that peace—not the fragile peace of politics, not the temporary peace of circumstances, but the eternal peace that only You can establish.
Inviting the Fire of God
Father, send Your holy fire—
not to destroy but to purify,
not to consume but to cleanse,
not to terrify but to awaken.
Just as Your fire fell in the days of Eliyahu,
“Adonai, He is God! Adonai, He is God!” (1 Kings 18:39)
Let Your fire fall again—
Removing what is false.
Refining what is impure.
Igniting what is cold.
Strengthening what is weak.
Let Your fire burn away bitterness, rage, hopelessness, and fear.
Let it awaken in me a steadfast heart and an undivided spirit.
Let it restore in me the courage to love, the strength to forgive, the humility to listen, and the boldness to speak truth with compassion.
Father, I ask that through Your fire You would set the world right again—
not only through justice, but through mercy,
not only through power, but through redemption,
not only through signs, but through transformed hearts.
For the Kingdom to Expand Through Yeshua
Hashem, let Your Kingdom grow and expand in every nation, every people, every tribe, every home, and every heart.
Let the light of Yeshua break through the darkness that tries to shut it out.
Let the words of the prophets echo again:
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Adonai as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)
Father, open eyes to see Yeshua as the promised Messiah,
open ears to hear His voice as the Good Shepherd,
open hearts to receive His compassion,
and open lives to be transformed by His love.
May every act of kindness shine His light.
May every word spoken in truth lift His Name.
May every moment of mercy display His heart.
May every testimony of deliverance glorify You, Father.
A Prayer for Israel and the Nations
Adonai, I pray for shalom over Israel, the land You called Your own, the land where Yeshua walked, taught, healed, and gave His life.
May Your protection surround her borders.
May Your wisdom guide her leaders.
May Your compassion heal her wounds.
May Your promises continue to be fulfilled in her days.
As the prophet declared,
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.” (Psalm 122:6)
But I also pray for the nations—
for those who war, and those who weep;
for those who oppress, and those who suffer;
for those who attack, and those who bury their dead.
Hashem, only You can bring true reconciliation.
Only You can soften hearts of stone.
Only You can turn enemies into brothers.
Only You can rebuild what hatred has shattered.
Do what only You can do.
Let Your peace surprise the nations.
Personal Peace, Inner Peace, Eternal Peace
Father, I don’t only ask for peace around me—
I ask for peace within me.
Calm my anxious thoughts.
Still my restless spirit.
Heal the wounds I carry quietly.
Restore the places I’ve hidden from You.
Fill me with confidence in Your promises, and faith in Your goodness.
For Your Word says:
“Adonai is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1)
And Yeshua said,
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Give me that rest, Father.
The deep rest of knowing You are in control.
The holy rest of trusting Your timing.
The eternal rest that flows from walking in Your ways.
For the Father to Be Glorified
Above all else, Father—
Be glorified.
Be glorified in my life.
Be glorified in my prayers.
Be glorified in my struggles.
Be glorified in my victories.
Be glorified in my family.
Be glorified in Israel.
Be glorified in the nations.
Be glorified in Your people.
Be glorified in Your creation.
Be glorified through Your Messiah, Yeshua.
As Yeshua Himself prayed:
“Father, glorify Your Name.” (John 12:28)
May every step I take honor You.
May every word I speak point to You.
May every breath I breathe be offered to You.
Closing Prayer
Avinu, I release every burden into Your hands.
I surrender every fear to Your goodness.
I trust every unknown to Your wisdom.
And I anchor every hope in Your promises.
Let peace rise.
Let Your Kingdom advance.
Let Your fire cleanse.
Let the blood of Yeshua cover.
Let Your Name be glorified forever.
And let it be done—on earth as it is in heaven.
I seal this prayer in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach,
Amen.
