A Messianic Jewish Healing Prayer for Influenza: “By the Fire of God and the Shield of Yeshua’s Blood”

Heavenly Father, Avinu Malkeinu, Blessed Be Your Name, HaShem—

I come before You with trembling yet confident trust, lifting my voice in the mighty name of Yeshua the Messiah—my Savior, my Shield, my Healer. You alone are the Giver of Life and the Sustainer of my breath. I declare that even in the storm of affliction, You are El Elyon, God Most High, seated on the throne of glory. May Your Name be magnified in this moment of weakness, and may Your Kingdom advance through the healing You release into my body today.

Abba, I come not in my own merit, but I hide myself behind the shield of Yeshua’s blood, the covenant that speaks better things—mercy, healing, redemption, and power. Let the blood that was poured out on that execution stake—where Yeshua bore my sickness and carried my pain—rise up now as a banner over my life. Let it be a barrier against every virus, every fever, every inflammation stirred up by this influenza.

As it is written in Isaiah 53:5,
"But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds, we are healed."

So I take refuge in that promise, spoken by Your prophet and fulfilled in Your Son, Yeshua. I plead this promise into every cell of my body. Let the healing power purchased at such a great price begin to flow through me right now, in the authority of His Name.

Father, release Your holy fire to burn away every trace of this sickness. Let the fire of Your Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) fall upon me—not to harm, but to refine and restore. Let it consume every stronghold of disease and revive what has been weakened by this attack.

As You said through Exodus 15:26,
"I am HaShem who heals you."

So I speak to this influenza and I say:
You have no authority here!
I am a child of the Most High, purchased by the blood of the Lamb. I command you, in Yeshua’s Name, to leave my body. Every virus particle, every symptom of fatigue, fever, cough, and pain—go now! Be cast into the sea, for it is written:

"He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses." —Matthew 8:17

You, Father, are not only a Healer; You are the Healer of Israel, and I am grafted into that holy olive tree by faith in Your Son. Let the roots of that tree send nourishment into me now. Let healing rise like sap in spring, restoring my strength and lifting me from this bed of affliction.

Glorify Yourself, O God, not only in my healing, but in my testimony. I ask for more than relief—I ask for revival. Let this healing be a signpost pointing others to Yeshua. Let my life be a vessel of Your goodness, that I may declare:

"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases." —Psalm 103:2–3

Let those who see me recover stand in awe, not of me, but of You, HaShem, the One who still works miracles. Let my healing be a spark that sets hearts ablaze with the truth of the Gospel. Let it be a trumpet call to the weary, the sick, and the broken that Yeshua is alive, and that His power has not diminished.

Father, I also ask that You would surround my household, my community, and all who suffer with this affliction. Extend Your shield—the blood of the Lamb—over their doorposts. Let Your fire drive out every plague, and may healing spring forth speedily for them too.

Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done. Let Your Name be exalted.

I thank You, Father, for hearing me—not because I am worthy, but because Yeshua is worthy, and I come in His righteousness, not my own. I lift my hands in praise even now, before I see the full restoration, because I know You are faithful.

I seal this prayer in the Name that is above every name,
In the Name of Yeshua the Messiah,
