Breaking the Power of Leviathan and Confronting Spiritual Pride - Spiritual Warfare Prayer

Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King,

I come before You in humility, reverence, and awe. I come before the throne of the One who created the heavens and the earth, the seas and everything within them. You are Hashem, the Holy One of Israel. You alone are God, and there is none beside You.

I lift up Your Name above every name, every power, every principality, every authority, every human ambition, every proud imagination, every hidden agenda, and every structure that exalts itself against Your truth.

You are the One who says:

“I am Hashem your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide and I will fill it.”
— Psalm 81:11

Father, I open my mouth before You—not to boast in myself, but to ask You to fill me with truth, wisdom, righteousness, humility, discernment, courage, and obedience.

Search me, Hashem.

Expose what needs to be exposed.

Correct what needs to be corrected.

Break what needs to be broken.

Heal what needs to be healed.

Purify what needs to be purified.

And establish what comes from You.

I refuse to hide from Your light.

I refuse to protect pride at the expense of truth.

I refuse to defend what You are asking me to surrender.

I refuse to call darkness light or light darkness.

I refuse to call rebellion freedom.

I refuse to call arrogance authority.

I refuse to call manipulation wisdom.

I refuse to call intimidation leadership.

I refuse to call secrecy holiness.

I refuse to call the refusal of accountability strength.

Hashem, let Your truth rule within me.

HASHEM, YOU ALONE ARE SOVEREIGN

Father, I declare that You are sovereign over the heavens, the earth, the seas, and every creature.

Your servant Job heard You speak of Leviathan, and Your words revealed something far greater than human strength.

You asked:

“Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook?”
— Job 41:1

You showed that what overwhelms human beings does not overwhelm You.

You are not intimidated by what intimidates me.

You are not confused by what confuses me.

You are not deceived by what deceives human beings.

You are not impressed by what impresses human beings.

You see beneath appearances.

You see beneath words.

You see beneath titles.

You see beneath reputations.

You see beneath public displays.

You see beneath religious language.

You see the heart.

As it is written:

“For Hashem sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but Hashem looks on the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7

Father, let that truth become established within me.

Teach me not to judge according to appearances.

Teach me to discern according to Your righteousness.

Teach me to recognize when pride has disguised itself as confidence.

Teach me to recognize when stubbornness has disguised itself as conviction.

Teach me to recognize when fear has disguised itself as control.

Teach me to recognize when insecurity has disguised itself as superiority.

Teach me to recognize when manipulation has disguised itself as concern.

Teach me to recognize when spiritual pride has disguised itself as spiritual authority.

And most importantly, Hashem, keep me from becoming what I am asking You to expose.

“YOU CRUSHED THE HEADS OF LEVIATHAN”

Father, I remember the testimony of Psalm 74:

“You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.”
— Psalm 74:14

I declare that Leviathan is not sovereign.

Pride is not sovereign.

Arrogance is not sovereign.

Manipulation is not sovereign.

Fear is not sovereign.

Deception is not sovereign.

Human power is not sovereign.

You are sovereign.

Hashem, You crush what human beings cannot conquer.

You overthrow what human beings cannot overthrow.

You expose what human beings cannot see.

You bring down what human beings exalt.

You establish what human beings cannot destroy.

Therefore I place every manifestation of spiritual pride before You.

Every refusal to receive correction—

I place it before You.

Every refusal to acknowledge wrongdoing—

I place it before You.

Every attempt to silence righteous accountability—

I place it before You.

Every manipulation of Scripture—

I place it before You.

Every misuse of spiritual authority—

I place it before You.

Every attempt to control people through fear—

I place it before You.

Every secret agreement that violates Your righteousness—

I place it before You.

Every hidden motive—

I place it before You.

Every deception—

I place it before You.

Every proud heart—

I place it before You.

I do not ask You to satisfy my desire for revenge.

I ask You to glorify Your Name through truth.

I ask You to bring repentance where repentance is needed.

I ask You to bring justice where justice is required.

I ask You to bring reconciliation where reconciliation is righteous.

I ask You to establish boundaries where boundaries are necessary.

And I ask You to remove every work that refuses Your truth.

BREAKING THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE

Hashem, Your Word declares:

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”
— Proverbs 16:18

Therefore, Father, I renounce pride within myself.

I renounce the desire to always be right.

I renounce the desire to appear spiritually superior.

I renounce the desire to win every argument.

I renounce the desire to control every outcome.

I renounce the desire to receive praise that belongs to You.

I renounce the desire to be feared rather than respected.

I renounce the desire to be obeyed without being accountable.

I renounce the desire to hide weakness behind religious language.

I renounce every temptation to elevate myself.

Instead, teach me the humility that comes from knowing You.

Your Word says:

“The fear of Hashem is to hate evil; pride, arrogance, the way of evil, and the perverse mouth, I hate.”
— Proverbs 8:13

Father, put within me a holy hatred of pride—not hatred of people, but hatred of the sin that destroys people.

Teach me to hate deception without becoming hateful.

Teach me to confront evil without becoming evil.

Teach me to speak truth without cruelty.

Teach me to establish boundaries without vengeance.

Teach me to practice discernment without arrogance.

Teach me to walk in authority without becoming authoritarian.

Teach me to carry spiritual strength without losing gentleness.

THE HUMILITY OF YESHUA

Avinu, I look to Yeshua.

I remember His words:

“Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
— Matthew 23:12

Father, make this truth alive in me.

Where I have exalted myself, humble me.

Where I have defended myself unnecessarily, teach me surrender.

Where I have demanded recognition, teach me contentment.

Where I have sought control, teach me trust.

Where I have refused correction, teach me repentance.

Where I have been defensive, make me teachable.

Where I have been proud, make me humble.

Where I have been harsh, make me merciful.

Where I have been fearful, make me courageous.

Where I have been silent when truth required speech, give me courage.

Where I have spoken when silence would have been wiser, give me restraint.

Yeshua taught:

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
— Matthew 5:5

Father, form meekness within me.

Not weakness.

Not cowardice.

Not passivity.

But strength surrendered to You.

THE FIRE OF GOD

Hashem, I ask for the fire of God to burn away everything that does not belong in my life.

As Your servant Malachi wrote:

“For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap.”
— Malachi 3:2

Let Your refining fire search me.

Let it burn away arrogance.

Let it burn away resentment.

Let it burn away jealousy.

Let it burn away pride.

Let it burn away false humility.

Let it burn away manipulation.

Let it burn away deception.

Let it burn away the need to control.

Let it burn away the desire for human applause.

Let it burn away every counterfeit identity.

Let it burn away every agreement with lies.

Let it burn away every spiritual attitude that resists Your correction.

Father, let Your fire purify rather than destroy.

Let Your fire make me holy rather than merely impressive.

Let Your fire produce obedience rather than religious performance.

Let Your fire establish truth in the inward parts.

THE SHIELD OF YESHUA'S BLOOD

Father, I place myself under the protection and authority of Your salvation revealed through Yeshua.

I hold fast to the significance of His blood.

Yeshua said:

“This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.”
— Mark 14:24

I therefore look to the covenant mercy You have made known through Him.

Let the sacrifice of Yeshua remind me that I am not saved by pride, reputation, status, accomplishments, or human approval.

I cannot boast before You.

I need mercy.

I need forgiveness.

I need redemption.

I need cleansing.

I need Your grace.

I ask that the blood of Yeshua be a shield over my life—not as a magical formula, but as the covenant sign of Your mercy and redemption.

Guard my heart from accusation.

Guard my mind from deception.

Guard my words from destruction.

Guard my motives from corruption.

Guard my relationships from manipulation.

Guard my household from fear.

Guard my spiritual life from pride.

Let the sacrifice of Yeshua continually remind me that victory belongs to You.

BRINGING HIDDEN THINGS INTO THE LIGHT

Father, Your Word declares:

“For nothing is hidden that shall not be made manifest, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light.”
— Luke 8:17

Therefore, let truth come into the light.

If there are hidden motives, expose them.

If there are dishonest words, expose them.

If there are deceptive practices, expose them.

If there are secret agreements that violate righteousness, expose them.

If there are manipulative patterns, expose them.

If there are false accusations, expose them.

If there are genuine offenses that I have refused to acknowledge, expose them in me.

If I have participated in something wrong, show me.

If I have hurt someone, show me.

If I owe someone an apology, show me.

If I need to make restitution, show me.

If I need to establish distance from destructive behavior, show me.

If I need to forgive, teach me.

If I need to repent, give me courage.

I ask for revelation without paranoia.

I ask for discernment without suspicion.

I ask for wisdom without arrogance.

I ask for truth without hatred.

Let me not become obsessed with searching for hidden evil everywhere.

Instead, teach me to remain anchored in Your Word.

BREAKING MANIPULATION

Father, I reject manipulation.

Yeshua taught:

“Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.”
— Matthew 5:37

Therefore, establish truth in my speech.

Let my yes mean yes.

Let my no mean no.

Deliver me from double speech.

Deliver me from calculated words.

Deliver me from emotional coercion.

Deliver me from guilt-based control.

Deliver me from intimidation.

Deliver me from flattery used as manipulation.

Deliver me from fear of human beings.

Your Word says:

“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in Hashem is safe.”
— Proverbs 29:25

Father, break every snare of the fear of man.

I will not worship approval.

I will not make human acceptance my god.

I will not compromise truth simply to avoid conflict.

I will not surrender righteousness merely because someone is powerful.

I will not allow intimidation to replace discernment.

I will trust You.

ACCOUNTABILITY AND REPENTANCE

Father, establish righteous accountability in my life.

Yeshua taught:

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.”
— Matthew 18:15

Teach me to confront wrongdoing directly and righteously.

Keep me from gossip.

Keep me from public humiliation.

Keep me from revenge.

Keep me from gathering allies merely to strengthen my position.

Give me courage to speak directly.

Give me humility to listen.

Give me wisdom to distinguish between an accusation and genuine correction.

And when I am corrected, do not allow pride to harden my heart.

Let me receive righteous correction.

Your Word says:

“Better is open rebuke than hidden love.”
— Proverbs 27:5

And:

“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.”
— Proverbs 12:1

Father, make me teachable.

If someone points out something true about me, help me receive it.

If someone points out something false, help me respond without hatred.

If I am wrong, let me admit it.

If I have sinned, let me repent.

If I have damaged someone, let me seek restoration.

If I have abused authority, let me surrender it.

If I have demanded accountability from others while avoiding accountability myself, expose the hypocrisy.

TEARING DOWN SPIRITUAL PRIDE

Father, I bring every tower of spiritual pride before You.

Every tower built from titles—

bring it down.

Every tower built from reputation—

bring it down.

Every tower built from followers—

bring it down.

Every tower built from money—

bring it down.

Every tower built from influence—

bring it down.

Every tower built from religious knowledge—

bring it down.

Every tower built from fear—

bring it down.

Every tower built from secrecy—

bring it down.

Every tower built from intimidation—

bring it down.

Every tower built from self-righteousness—

bring it down.

Your Word says:

“Hashem of hosts has a day against all that is proud and arrogant, against all that is lifted up and high.”
— Isaiah 2:12

Father, let humility return to Your people.

Let leaders become servants.

Let teachers become teachable.

Let the strong protect the weak.

Let the knowledgeable remain humble.

Let the influential remain accountable.

Let those with authority remember that authority belongs ultimately to You.

Yeshua said:

“Whoever would be great among you must be your servant.”
— Matthew 20:26

Father, establish servant-hearted leadership.

LET YOUR KINGDOM EXPAND THROUGH YESHUA

Avinu Malkeinu, I ask that Your Kingdom expand through Yeshua.

Not my kingdom.

Not another person's kingdom.

Not a kingdom built around personality.

Not a kingdom built around control.

Not a kingdom built around celebrity.

Your Kingdom.

Yeshua taught us to pray:

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
— Matthew 6:10

So I pray:

Your Kingdom come.

Your will be done.

Your truth be established.

Your righteousness increase.

Your mercy increase.

Your justice increase.

Your holiness increase.

Your peace increase.

Your wisdom increase.

Your love increase.

Let everything that belongs to pride lose its authority.

Let everything that belongs to truth gain clarity.

Let everything that belongs to Your Kingdom bear righteous fruit.

Yeshua declared:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”
— Matthew 28:18

Therefore, I place my confidence not in human authority but in the authority You have entrusted to Yeshua.

HASHEM, BE GLORIFIED

Father, above everything else, I ask:

Be glorified.

Be glorified in my life.

Be glorified in my relationships.

Be glorified in my decisions.

Be glorified in my words.

Be glorified in my work.

Be glorified in my worship.

Be glorified when I am corrected.

Be glorified when I am misunderstood.

Be glorified when I must establish boundaries.

Be glorified when I must forgive.

Be glorified when I must repent.

Be glorified when I must wait.

Be glorified when I must speak.

Be glorified when I must remain silent.

Be glorified when You answer my prayers.

Be glorified when You answer differently than I expected.

I do not want victory merely for myself.

I want Your Name honored.

I do not want vindication merely for my ego.

I want truth established.

I do not want revenge.

I want righteousness.

I do not want another person destroyed.

I want deception destroyed, sin confronted, repentance welcomed, justice established, and Your mercy magnified.

I STAND IN HUMILITY

Father, I stand before You and confess that I am dependent upon You.

I cannot overcome pride through pride.

I cannot defeat manipulation through manipulation.

I cannot fight deception by becoming deceptive.

I cannot establish righteousness through unrighteousness.

I cannot bring peace through hatred.

Therefore, I surrender.

I surrender my reputation.

I surrender my need to be understood.

I surrender my need to be vindicated immediately.

I surrender my need to control the outcome.

I surrender my anger.

I surrender my fear.

I surrender my desire for revenge.

I surrender my pride.

I surrender my wounds.

I surrender my plans.

I surrender my expectations.

I surrender everything that prevents me from obeying You.

Hashem, create in me a clean heart.

Your servant David prayed:

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
— Psalm 51:10

That is my prayer.

Create in me a clean heart.

Renew a right spirit within me.

Make my heart humble.

Make my motives pure.

Make my discernment sharp.

Make my compassion deep.

Make my courage strong.

Make my obedience complete.

LEVIATHAN WILL NOT DEFINE MY FUTURE

Father, I refuse to believe that pride has the final word.

I refuse to believe that manipulation has the final word.

I refuse to believe that deception has the final word.

I refuse to believe that intimidation has the final word.

I refuse to believe that darkness has the final word.

You have the final word.

Your Word declares:

“Hashem is King forever and ever.”
— Psalm 10:16

You are King.

You remain King.

You will always be King.

Therefore, I place every battle before You.

If I encounter Leviathan-like pride, give me humility.

If I encounter deception, give me truth.

If I encounter manipulation, give me wisdom.

If I encounter intimidation, give me courage.

If I encounter false accusation, give me patience.

If I encounter genuine correction, give me humility.

If I encounter injustice, give me perseverance.

If I encounter temptation, give me strength.

If I encounter confusion, give me wisdom.

If I encounter darkness, let Your light guide me.

MY FINAL DECLARATION

Hashem, I declare that I belong to You.

I declare that Your Name is holy.

I declare that You alone are worthy of worship.

I declare that pride will not become my master.

I declare that fear will not become my master.

I declare that human approval will not become my master.

I declare that manipulation will not become my master.

I declare that deception will not become my master.

I declare that resentment will not become my master.

I declare that vengeance will not become my master.

I choose humility.

I choose truth.

I choose righteousness.

I choose forgiveness where forgiveness is righteous.

I choose accountability.

I choose wisdom.

I choose obedience.

I choose to walk in the light.

And when I fail, I will return to You.

When I fall, I will seek Your mercy.

When I am corrected, I will listen.

When I am wrong, I will repent.

When I am wounded, I will seek Your healing.

When I am afraid, I will seek Your presence.

When I am attacked, I will seek Your wisdom rather than revenge.

When I encounter spiritual pride, I will remember that the battle belongs to You.

For You declared through the Psalmist:

“You crushed the heads of Leviathan.”
— Psalm 74:14

Therefore, I place every Leviathan-like manifestation of pride before You.

Crush its influence.

Expose its deception.

Break its intimidation.

Remove its authority where it opposes You.

Bring conviction where conviction is needed.

Bring repentance where repentance is possible.

Bring justice where justice is required.

Bring mercy where mercy is appropriate.

And keep my own heart humble throughout the process.

Let no victory over pride produce pride within me.

Let no confrontation with darkness cause me to abandon love.

Let no experience with manipulation make me manipulative.

Let no encounter with arrogance make me arrogant.

Let every battle teach me greater dependence upon You.

Let every trial produce deeper faithfulness.

Let every confrontation with darkness make me hunger more deeply for Your light.

Let every exposure of deception make me love truth more.

Let every encounter with spiritual pride make me more humble before You.

Father, let Your Kingdom expand through Yeshua.

Let Your Name be sanctified.

Let Your truth be proclaimed.

Let the oppressed find refuge.

Let the deceived find truth.

Let the wounded find healing.

Let the repentant find mercy.

Let the proud become humble.

Let the powerful become servants.

Let the fearful become courageous.

Let the hidden come into the light.

Let righteousness rise.

Let justice flow.

Let mercy triumph where You desire mercy.

Let Your people walk humbly with You.

And let everything that I do ultimately point away from myself and toward You.

Hashem, my Father and my King, be glorified.

May my life glorify You.

May my words glorify You.

May my choices glorify You.

May my spiritual warfare glorify You.

May my repentance glorify You.

May my humility glorify You.

May my obedience glorify You.

May Your Kingdom expand through Yeshua.

May Your truth prevail.

May Your righteousness stand.

May Your holy Name be lifted high.

And may I never forget that the victory belongs to You.

I place myself, my household, my relationships, my future, my spiritual life, my thoughts, my words, and every battle before You.

I trust You.

I surrender to You.

I seek Your Kingdom.

I seek Your righteousness.

I seek Your glory.

And I ask all these things before You through Yeshua the Messiah, my King and my Redeemer.

In Yeshua's name, amen.
