Pertussis Healing Prayer: Praying For Jesus To Heal Our Diseases

Pertussis Healing Prayer: Praying For Jesus To Heal Our Diseases

"By Your Fire, Heal Me of Pertussis, O HaShem"

A Messianic Jewish Healing Prayer for Deliverance from Pertussis

Avinu Malkeinu—my Father, my King—I come before You with trembling lips and a burning heart. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are the Holy One of Israel, enthroned in majesty, clothed in glory, burning with compassion, mercy, and power. You are HaShem—יהוה—who sees, who hears, and who heals.

Abba, I cry out to You as one afflicted by pertussis—this relentless cough that steals my breath and strength. I lift my voice, even when it cracks, even when it hurts, and I bring my suffering before Your throne of mercy. Not for my sake alone, but so that Your Name may be glorified, and Your Kingdom may be revealed through Yeshua HaMashiach, my Redeemer and Great Physician.

"Heal me, O HaShem, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise."
Jeremiah 17:14

I plead the shield of Yeshua’s blood over my lungs, my throat, my immune system, and every fiber of my being. Let the blood that was shed at Golgotha speak louder than any sickness. May the blood of the Lamb shield me from the torment of pertussis, and may the angel of affliction pass over me. I apply the blood, not just as a covering, but as a banner of covenantal healing between You and me.

Let the fire of God—the same holy fire that fell upon Mount Sinai, the fire that led Israel through the wilderness—consume every trace of infection in my body. May that fire burn through every cell, igniting divine healing and silencing every violent cough. May it consume all fear, all inflammation, all bacteria, all weakness, and leave only Your shalom.

You said through Your servant Moses:
"If you diligently heed the voice of HaShem your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am HaShem who heals you."
Exodus 15:26

Yeshua, my Messiah, I turn my eyes to You. You who touched the leper, who opened blind eyes, who silenced demons and calmed the storm with one word—I ask You now to speak over this pertussis. Rebuke it in Your Name. Speak to my lungs as You spoke to Lazarus:
"Come forth!" (John 11:43)
Let new breath come forth! Let new strength arise! Let resurrection power flood my body and glorify the Father through Your miraculous touch.

"He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."
Matthew 8:17, quoting Isaiah 53

Let Your atonement be made manifest in my body. I do not ask for healing only to be made comfortable. I ask that through this healing, Your Kingdom would expand, that Your Name would be praised among the nations, and that many would see, fear, and put their trust in HaShem.

You are the same God who said through the prophet Isaiah:
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5

You are the God who said to the centurion through Yeshua:
"Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you."
Matthew 8:13

And so I believe, and I receive, and I declare—HaShem is my Healer! Yeshua is my Redeemer! The fire of God is purging this pertussis from my lungs! The blood of the Lamb shields me! My body will testify of the greatness of my King!

"Bless HaShem, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits—Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases."
Psalm 103:2–3

Let the enemy be confounded and flee. Let all lying symptoms bow at the Name above every name—Yeshua! May even this illness be used as a stage for Your glory.

Abba, I give You thanks in the midst of the storm, and I declare: Your mercy endures forever. I will praise You with every breath You restore. I will tell of Your wonders, for You are not only the Creator of life—but the Restorer of all things.

Baruch Atah, HaShem, Rofeh kol basar—Blessed are You, HaShem, who heals all flesh and does wondrous things.

I receive my healing not as a reward, but as a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Let it draw others to the foot of the cross, to the open arms of Messiah, to the eternal promises of Your Word.

Be exalted, HaShem. Be glorified. Let Your Kingdom come, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In the mighty, healing, all-glorious Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, I pray—Amen.
