Prayer for Healing Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)
My Father in Heaven, Hashem, the One who formed me from the dust and breathed into me the breath of life, I come before Your throne of grace today. I bow my heart, not in despair, but in desperate hope, for You alone are my Maker and my Healer. I lift up this body You have given me, this vessel that feels the sting of infirmity, this specific affliction of bacterial vaginosis that disrupts and distresses. From the depths of my being, I cry out to You, El Roi, the God who sees me. You see every hidden place, every cell, every imbalance. Nothing in all my creation is hidden from Your sight.
Hashem, my Rock and my Redeemer, I begin by proclaiming Your truth over this body: You are the Lord who heals me. Your word declares, “For I am the Lord, your healer” (Exodus 15:26). I cling to this promise now. I stand upon it as my foundation. I remember Your faithfulness to Israel, how You brought them out of bondage with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and I believe that same mighty hand is stretched out toward me now for my deliverance from this bodily bondage.
I take up the shield of Yeshua’s precious blood, shed for my redemption, my sanctification, and my healing. By the stripes He bore, I am healed. As the prophet foretold, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). I apply that finished work to every part of my being now. I ask that the cleansing power of His blood would wash over me, spiritually and physically. Let it be a shield against every spirit of infirmity, every assignment of the enemy meant to bring shame or discouragement. In the authority of Yeshua’s name and the protection of His blood, I rebuke this affliction. You, O Lord, are a consuming fire. I ask for the holy, purifying fire of Your presence to come now. Let it burn within me, not to consume me, but to consume every unnatural bacteria, every imbalance, every source of inflammation and infection. As Malachi said of the Messiah, “For he will be like a refiner’s fire…” (Malachi 3:2). Refine this body, Yeshua. Burn away what does not belong, and let what remains be pure, balanced, and whole, restored to the harmonious state You designed.
Father, my deepest desire in this request is for Your glory. Let Your name be magnified through this process. If You choose to heal me instantly, I will shout Your praise from the rooftops. If You walk with me through a process of healing, I will testify to Your sustaining grace at every step. Let this trial become a testimony that expands Your Kingdom. Let those who see or hear of Your work in me turn their hearts to You. As Yeshua taught us to pray, I pray: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). In my body, Lord, let Your heavenly will for health and wholeness be done on earth, in this flesh. Let my healing be a signpost pointing to the reality of Your Kingdom, where “No one living in Zion will say, ‘I am ill’; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven” (Isaiah 33:24).
I declare Your word over my flesh: “Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me” (Psalm 30:2). I wait upon You, Hashem. I renew my strength in You. I choose to trust even when I cannot see. You are the God of all comfort, who collects my tears. You are the God of all power, who spoke creation into being. Speak “Shalom” — peace, completeness, wellness — into every system of my body now.
I remember the multitudes Yeshua healed during His earthly ministry. Like the woman with the issue of blood, I reach out in faith, believing that if I can just touch the fringe of His garment, I will be made well. And Yeshua said to her, and says to me now, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering” (Mark 5:34). I receive that word, Lord. I receive that peace. I receive that freedom.
So, Hashem, be glorified. Be magnified. Let Your Kingdom advance through this life You have given me. From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, I submit to Your sovereign hand. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are the one I praise (Jeremiah 17:14).
I ask all of this, believing, in the mighty and holy name of my Messiah, my Healer, Yeshua HaMashiach. Amen.
