Breaking the Power of Leviathan - Spiritual Warfare Prayer for Humility, Truth, Freedom, and Victory Through Yeshua

Breaking the Power of Leviathan - Spiritual Warfare Prayer for Humility, Truth, Freedom, and Victory Through Yeshua

Avinu Malkeinu, my Heavenly Father,

I come before You in humility.

I come before You because You alone are God.

You alone are worthy of worship.

You alone are the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who formed the seas, established the mountains, numbered the stars, and breathed life into humanity.

“Hear, O Israel: Hashem is our God, Hashem is one.”
— Deuteronomy 6:4

Hashem, I bow my heart before You.

I lay down my pride.

I lay down my self-reliance.

I lay down my need to be right.

I lay down my need to control.

I lay down my need to have the last word.

I lay down every hidden place in my heart where pride has attempted to take Your rightful place.

I declare that You are greater than every power.

You are greater than every principality.

You are greater than every deception.

You are greater than every spirit of accusation, confusion, manipulation, rebellion, arrogance, secrecy, and falsehood.

You are the King.

You are the Judge.

You are my Defender.

You are my Refuge.

You are my Deliverer.

And I ask that Your holy name, Hashem, be glorified in me.

Let my life bring honor to You.

Let my thoughts bring honor to You.

Let my words bring honor to You.

Let my decisions bring honor to You.

Let my relationships bring honor to You.

Let my home bring honor to You.

Let everything within me become increasingly surrendered to You.

HASHEM, EXPOSE WHAT HIDES IN DARKNESS

Father, I ask You to shine Your light into every hidden place.

Where there is deception, bring truth.

Where there is pride, bring humility.

Where there is rebellion, bring submission.

Where there is stubbornness, give me a teachable heart.

Where there is manipulation, establish truth.

Where there is secrecy, bring righteous transparency.

Where there is confusion, bring clarity.

Where there is accusation, establish justice.

Where there is fear, establish faith.

Where there is hardness of heart, give me a heart that can hear You.

Your Word declares:

“The secret things belong to Hashem our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this Torah.”
— Deuteronomy 29:29

Father, reveal what I need to see so that I can repent of what I need to repent of.

Do not allow me to hide behind religious language.

Do not allow me to hide behind spiritual appearances.

Do not allow me to hide behind accomplishments.

Do not allow me to hide behind knowledge.

Do not allow me to hide behind ministry.

Do not allow me to hide behind my reputation.

If there is something in me that opposes Your truth, expose it.

If there is something in me that resists correction, expose it.

If there is something in me that refuses accountability, expose it.

If there is something in me that secretly desires control, expose it.

If there is something in me that enjoys being exalted, expose it.

I would rather be corrected by You than applauded by people.

I would rather walk humbly before You than appear powerful before others.

I would rather possess a clean heart than a polished reputation.

BREAK THE POWER OF PRIDE

Hashem, I ask You to break the power of pride over my life.

Teach me to recognize pride when it disguises itself as strength.

Teach me to recognize pride when it disguises itself as wisdom.

Teach me to recognize pride when it disguises itself as discernment.

Teach me to recognize pride when it disguises itself as spiritual authority.

Teach me to recognize pride when it disguises itself as independence.

Teach me to recognize pride when it disguises itself as righteousness.

Your Word says:

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”
— Proverbs 16:18

Father, keep me from walking toward destruction while convincing myself that I am walking toward victory.

Keep me from confusing arrogance with courage.

Keep me from confusing stubbornness with conviction.

Keep me from confusing control with leadership.

Keep me from confusing criticism with discernment.

Keep me from confusing spiritual language with spiritual maturity.

Give me a humble spirit.

Give me a contrite heart.

Give me ears that listen.

Give me eyes that see.

Give me wisdom to receive correction.

Give me courage to admit when I am wrong.

Give me grace to apologize without making excuses.

Give me strength to change when You reveal something that needs to change.

HASHEM, SEARCH MY HEART

I pray the words of David:

“Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.”
— Psalm 139:23–24

Search me, Father.

Not merely the parts of me that I willingly show You.

Search the hidden places.

Search my motives.

Search my reactions.

Search my conversations.

Search my relationships.

Search my ambitions.

Search my desires.

Search the things I say when nobody is watching.

Search the thoughts I entertain when nobody can hear them.

Search the places where I am defensive.

Search the places where I refuse correction.

Search the places where I secretly believe I know better than You.

And where You find something that does not belong, give me the grace to surrender it.

BREAK THE POWER OF LEVIATHAN

Father, Your Scriptures speak of Leviathan as a mighty creature beyond human control.

Job declares:

“Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook?”
— Job 41:1

And You ask:

“Who can open the doors of his face?”
— Job 41:14

Job 41 describes a creature whose strength is beyond human mastery.

Yet You are its Creator.

You are not intimidated by what terrifies humanity.

You are not threatened by what overwhelms me.

You are not confused by what confuses me.

You are not powerless before what is too powerful for me.

Therefore, Father, I place every spiritual battle before You.

I do not trust in my own strength.

I do not trust in rituals.

I do not trust in formulas.

I do not trust in human power.

I trust Hashem.

I trust the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

I trust the God who delivered Israel from Egypt.

I trust the God who divided the Red Sea.

I trust the God who brought water from the rock.

I trust the God who caused Jericho's walls to fall.

I trust the God who delivered David from his enemies.

I trust the God who shut the mouths of lions.

I trust the God who raises the humble and opposes the proud.

MY REFUGE IS HASHEM

Father, I declare:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
— Psalm 46:1

Therefore, I refuse to live enslaved to fear.

I refuse to believe that darkness has the final word.

I refuse to believe that deception is stronger than truth.

I refuse to believe that pride is stronger than humility.

I refuse to believe that bondage is stronger than Your power.

I refuse to believe that accusation is stronger than Your mercy.

I refuse to believe that confusion is stronger than Your wisdom.

I refuse to believe that the enemy's schemes are greater than Your sovereignty.

You are my refuge.

You are my fortress.

You are my shield.

You are my deliverer.

I COME UNDER THE SHIELD OF YESHUA'S BLOOD

Father, I thank You for Yeshua.

I thank You for the Messiah.

I thank You for the One whom You sent.

I place my faith in Him.

I remember His words:

“For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
— Matthew 26:28

Father, I ask that I remain under the protection and covenant mercy represented by the blood of Yeshua.

Let the blood of Yeshua remind me that forgiveness comes from You.

Let it remind me that I cannot save myself.

Let it remind me that pride has no place at the foot of Your mercy.

Let it remind me that I am dependent upon You.

Let the sacrifice of Yeshua draw me away from self-exaltation and toward repentance.

When accusation rises, let me remember Your mercy.

When shame rises, let me seek Your forgiveness.

When fear rises, let me seek Your presence.

When pride rises, let me bow before You.

When deception rises, let me return to Your Word.

When temptation comes, let me remember the Messiah's example.

YESHUA, TEACH ME TO RESIST TEMPTATION

Yeshua answered the tempter with Scripture.

When tempted, He declared:

“It is written, ‘You shall worship Hashem your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
— Matthew 4:10

Father, establish that truth inside me.

I will worship You.

I will serve You.

I will not worship power.

I will not worship influence.

I will not worship reputation.

I will not worship money.

I will not worship human approval.

I will not worship my own image.

I will not worship spiritual status.

I will worship Hashem alone.

Teach me to recognize every temptation to elevate myself above Your authority.

Teach me to recognize every invitation to compromise truth for recognition.

Teach me to recognize every temptation to manipulate others rather than serve them.

Teach me to recognize every temptation to demand honor rather than demonstrate humility.

LET THE FIRE OF GOD PURIFY ME

Father, let Your holy fire purify me.

Your Word says:

“For our God is a consuming fire.”
— Deuteronomy 4:24

Let Your fire burn away what does not belong in me.

Burn away pride.

Burn away arrogance.

Burn away bitterness.

Burn away resentment.

Burn away manipulation.

Burn away deceit.

Burn away false spirituality.

Burn away self-exaltation.

Burn away the desire to control others.

Burn away every counterfeit identity built upon human praise.

Burn away every secret agreement with darkness.

Burn away every lie that has become comfortable inside my thinking.

But Father, do not merely remove something from me.

Replace it with righteousness.

Replace pride with humility.

Replace hatred with love.

Replace fear with trust.

Replace confusion with wisdom.

Replace harshness with compassion.

Replace selfishness with service.

Replace rebellion with obedience.

Replace arrogance with meekness.

Replace deception with truth.

CREATE IN ME A CLEAN HEART

I cry out with David:

“Create in me a clean heart, God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
— Psalm 51:10

Create in me a clean heart.

Not merely a religious heart.

Not merely an impressive heart.

Not merely a heart that knows Scripture.

Give me a heart that obeys You.

Give me a heart that loves truth.

Give me a heart that repents quickly.

Give me a heart that forgives.

Give me a heart that refuses revenge.

Give me a heart that welcomes correction.

Give me a heart that trembles at Your Word.

Isaiah declares:

“But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.”
— Isaiah 66:2

Father, make me that person.

Let me tremble at Your Word more than I fear human opinion.

Let me value obedience more than applause.

Let me value holiness more than popularity.

Let me value truth more than winning an argument.

BREAK THE CHAINS OF DECEPTION

Father, wherever deception has influenced my thinking, break its hold.

Your Word says:

“The fear of Hashem is the beginning of wisdom.”
— Proverbs 9:10

Therefore, let reverence for You become the foundation of my thinking.

When I hear a lie, give me discernment.

When I encounter manipulation, give me wisdom.

When I encounter flattery, keep me humble.

When I encounter intimidation, keep me courageous.

When I encounter accusation, keep me anchored in truth.

When I encounter confusion, lead me back to Your Word.

I ask You to expose every falsehood that has become a stronghold in my mind.

I surrender my assumptions to You.

I surrender my interpretations to You.

I surrender my expectations to You.

I surrender my ego to You.

I surrender my desire to control outcomes to You.

GUARD MY MOUTH

Father, guard my tongue.

Your Word says:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”
— Proverbs 18:21

Therefore, teach me to speak life.

Keep me from slander.

Keep me from gossip.

Keep me from false accusations.

Keep me from exaggeration.

Keep me from manipulation.

Keep me from speaking words designed to wound.

Keep me from using Scripture as a weapon against people while neglecting its correction of my own heart.

Let my mouth become an instrument of blessing.

Let my words be truthful.

Let my correction be gentle.

Let my disagreement be honorable.

Let my speech reflect Your character.

GUARD ME FROM SPIRITUAL PRIDE

Father, do not allow spiritual knowledge to become spiritual arrogance.

Do not allow Bible knowledge to make me harsh.

Do not allow discernment to make me suspicious of everyone.

Do not allow zeal to make me cruel.

Do not allow confidence to make me unteachable.

Do not allow religious devotion to become a disguise for pride.

Teach me the words of Yeshua:

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
— Matthew 5:5

Teach me meekness.

Teach me gentleness.

Teach me humility.

Teach me patience.

Teach me mercy.

Teach me to serve.

Yeshua also said:

“Whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.”
— Matthew 20:26

Father, redefine greatness in me.

Let greatness mean service.

Let greatness mean faithfulness.

Let greatness mean humility.

Let greatness mean obedience.

Let greatness mean loving You and loving my neighbor.

PROTECT MY MIND

Father, protect my mind from deception.

Let Your truth become stronger in me than every lie.

Let Your Word become louder than every accusation.

Let Your presence become greater than every fear.

Let Your wisdom become greater than every confusion.

Your Word says:

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
— Isaiah 26:3

Therefore, I turn my mind toward You.

I fix my attention upon You.

I refuse to feed fear.

I refuse to magnify darkness.

I refuse to obsess over the enemy.

I will magnify Hashem.

For David declared:

“I sought Hashem, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
— Psalm 34:4

Father, deliver me from fear.

I CHOOSE HUMILITY

Father, I choose to humble myself before You.

I do not need to be the most important person in the room.

I do not need everyone to understand me.

I do not need everyone to agree with me.

I do not need everyone to praise me.

I do not need to control every outcome.

I do not need to prove myself.

I need You.

You are enough.

Your approval is enough.

Your presence is enough.

Your truth is enough.

Your mercy is enough.

Your Word is enough.

HASHEM, FIGHT MY BATTLES

Father, there are battles I cannot fight in my own strength.

Your Word declares:

“Hashem will fight for you, and you shall be still.”
— Exodus 14:14

So I surrender the battle to You.

I surrender the battles I have tried to control.

I surrender the battles I have tried to manipulate.

I surrender the battles I have tried to win through human strength.

I surrender the battles I have fought because my pride demanded victory.

Father, teach me when to speak.

Teach me when to remain silent.

Teach me when to confront.

Teach me when to withdraw.

Teach me when to forgive.

Teach me when to wait.

Teach me when to act.

Teach me when to let You fight.

THE KINGDOM BELONGS TO YOU

Father, I ask that Your Kingdom expand through Yeshua.

Let Your Kingdom advance through truth.

Let Your Kingdom advance through mercy.

Let Your Kingdom advance through repentance.

Let Your Kingdom advance through righteousness.

Let Your Kingdom advance through people whose lives demonstrate Your character.

Yeshua taught us to pray:

“May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
— Matthew 6:10

So I pray:

May Your Kingdom come.

May Your will be done in me.

May Your will be done in my home.

May Your will be done in my relationships.

May Your will be done in my decisions.

May Your will be done in my work.

May Your will be done in my service.

May Your will be done in every place where pride once ruled.

I STAND IN THE AUTHORITY OF TRUTH

Yeshua declared:

“You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
— John 8:32

Father, make me a lover of truth.

Let truth liberate me from deception.

Let truth liberate me from pride.

Let truth liberate me from fear.

Let truth liberate me from false identity.

Let truth liberate me from destructive patterns.

Let truth liberate me from the need to maintain appearances.

Let truth liberate me from the fear of repentance.

Give me courage to face reality.

Give me courage to say, “I was wrong.”

Give me courage to say, “Forgive me.”

Give me courage to change.

Give me courage to obey.

I RESIST THE WORKS OF DARKNESS

Father, I renounce every agreement I have knowingly or unknowingly made with deception, pride, rebellion, manipulation, hatred, bitterness, or falsehood.

I do not want them.

I do not serve them.

I do not glorify them.

I do not welcome them.

I belong to You.

My life belongs to You.

My mind belongs to You.

My body belongs to You.

My future belongs to You.

My gifts belong to You.

My relationships belong to You.

My testimony belongs to You.

My worship belongs to You.

My victory belongs to You.

HASHEM, ESTABLISH YOUR TRUTH

Your Word declares:

“The fear of Hashem is to hate evil.”
— Proverbs 8:13

Teach me to hate what You call evil without becoming hateful toward people.

Teach me to confront sin without becoming self-righteous.

Teach me to speak truth without becoming cruel.

Teach me to practice righteousness without becoming arrogant.

Teach me to pursue holiness without despising those who struggle.

Teach me to remember that I, too, need mercy.

I FORGIVE AND RELEASE

Father, where pride has been strengthened by wounds, heal me.

Where arrogance has been strengthened by rejection, heal me.

Where control has been strengthened by fear, heal me.

Where secrecy has been strengthened by shame, heal me.

Where defensiveness has been strengthened by past wounds, heal me.

Where anger has become a shield around my heart, soften me.

Yeshua taught:

“Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.”
— Matthew 5:44

Father, help me obey.

I release vengeance to You.

I release retaliation to You.

I release the desire to punish people to You.

I ask You to heal the places where I have been wounded so that my wounds do not become weapons.

I ASK FOR WISDOM

Father, give me wisdom.

Solomon asked:

“Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil.”
— 1 Kings 3:9

I ask for that kind of discernment.

Not suspicion.

Not paranoia.

Not arrogance.

But wisdom.

Help me distinguish truth from deception.

Help me distinguish conviction from condemnation.

Help me distinguish courage from pride.

Help me distinguish humility from passivity.

Help me distinguish compassion from compromise.

Help me distinguish forgiveness from enabling wrongdoing.

Help me distinguish spiritual warfare from ordinary human conflict.

And when I do not know what to do, teach me to wait upon You.

MY EYES ARE ON HASHEM

I will not become fascinated with darkness.

I will not make the enemy the center of my attention.

I will make Hashem the center of my attention.

David declared:

“I have set Hashem always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be moved.”
— Psalm 16:8

Therefore, Father, establish me.

When I am attacked, establish me.

When I am misunderstood, establish me.

When I am criticized, establish me.

When I am tempted, establish me.

When I am afraid, establish me.

When I am corrected, establish me.

When I am successful, establish me.

Especially when I am successful, keep me humble.

Do not let blessing become a doorway to pride.

Do not let influence become a doorway to arrogance.

Do not let spiritual gifts become a doorway to self-exaltation.

THE FIRE OF GOD

Father, let Your fire purify my life.

Let Your fire consume every false altar.

Let Your fire consume every idol.

Let Your fire consume every lie.

Let Your fire consume every work of darkness that has gained influence through my disobedience.

Let Your fire purify my worship.

Let Your fire purify my motives.

Let Your fire purify my speech.

Let Your fire purify my relationships.

Let Your fire purify my ambitions.

Let Your fire purify my heart.

I cry out:

“Create in me a clean heart, God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
— Psalm 51:10

I TRUST THE VICTORY OF HASHEM

Father, I declare that the final victory does not belong to darkness.

It belongs to You.

You are the Creator.

You are the King.

You are the Judge.

You are the Redeemer.

You are the Holy One of Israel.

Job ultimately recognized Your incomparable authority:

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.”
— Job 42:2

Therefore, I surrender.

I surrender my fear.

I surrender my pride.

I surrender my anger.

I surrender my need for control.

I surrender my desire for recognition.

I surrender my need to win.

I surrender my need to defend myself constantly.

I surrender every hidden place.

I surrender everything.

YESHUA, KEEP ME CLOSE TO YOU

Yeshua said:

“If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
— John 8:31–32

So I choose to remain in Your Word.

I choose truth.

I choose obedience.

I choose repentance.

I choose humility.

I choose mercy.

I choose forgiveness.

I choose faithfulness.

I choose love.

I choose to walk in the ways that honor the Father.

FATHER, BE GLORIFIED

Avinu Malkeinu, let everything in this prayer ultimately point back to You.

Not to me.

Not to my strength.

Not to my spiritual abilities.

Not to my knowledge.

Not to my accomplishments.

Not to my reputation.

To You.

Let the Father be glorified.

Let Hashem be glorified.

Let Yeshua be honored as the Messiah whom You sent.

Let Your Kingdom expand.

Let people encounter Your mercy.

Let people encounter Your truth.

Let people encounter Your righteousness.

Let people encounter Your holiness.

Let people encounter Your love.

Let lives be transformed through repentance and faithfulness.

Let families be restored.

Let broken hearts be healed.

Let deception be exposed.

Let injustice be confronted.

Let the oppressed receive justice.

Let the humble be strengthened.

Let the proud receive correction.

Let the lost find the way home.

Let Your name be lifted high.

MY FINAL DECLARATION

Father, I belong to You.

I will not exalt myself above You.

I will not surrender my mind to deception.

I will not surrender my heart to pride.

I will not surrender my mouth to accusation.

I will not surrender my life to fear.

I will not surrender my worship to idols.

I will not surrender my identity to the opinions of people.

I will not surrender my future to darkness.

I will seek You.

I will trust You.

I will obey You.

I will repent when You correct me.

I will forgive when You command me to forgive.

I will pursue righteousness.

I will pursue truth.

I will pursue humility.

I will pursue peace.

I will remain anchored in Your Word.

And when I am weak, I will remember that You are strong.

When I am afraid, I will remember that You are my refuge.

When I am confused, I will remember that You are wise.

When I am attacked, I will remember that You are my defender.

When I am tempted, I will remember the example of Yeshua.

When I am proud, humble me.

When I am wounded, heal me.

When I am deceived, correct me.

When I am wandering, bring me back.

When I fall, teach me to rise in repentance.

When I succeed, keep me humble.

When I am blessed, make me grateful.

When I am opposed, keep me faithful.

When I am misunderstood, keep me peaceful.

When I am weary, renew me.

And when the battle becomes overwhelming, remind me that I do not have to be greater than the battle.

I only need to remain faithful to the One who is greater than everything.

Hashem, You are greater than Leviathan.

You are greater than every work of darkness.

You are greater than every lie.

You are greater than every deception.

You are greater than every stronghold.

You are greater than every accusation.

You are greater than every fear.

You are greater than every power that attempts to exalt itself against Your truth.

I place myself beneath Your authority.

I place my household beneath Your care.

I place my future beneath Your sovereignty.

I place my mind beneath Your truth.

I place my heart beneath Your Word.

I place my life beneath Your will.

And I ask that the shield of Yeshua's blood continually remind me of Your covenant mercy and the price of redemption.

Let the fire of God purify me.

Let the truth of Your Word guide me.

Let the humility of Yeshua shape me.

Let Your Spirit lead me.

Let Your Kingdom come.

Let Your will be done.

Let Your holy name be glorified.

Let every victory point back to You.

Let every testimony point back to You.

Let every deliverance point back to You.

Let every blessing point back to You.

Let every answered prayer point back to You.

And let my entire life become an offering of gratitude and obedience before You.

“Not to us, Hashem, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake.”
— Psalm 115:1

I declare that Hashem alone is God.

I declare that He is worthy.

I declare that His Word is truth.

I declare that His mercy endures.

I declare that His purposes cannot be thwarted.

I declare that my life belongs to Him.

And I place my trust in Yeshua the Messiah, remembering His words:

“In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
— John 16:33

Therefore, I will not live as though darkness has the final word.

I will walk in truth.

I will walk in humility.

I will walk in repentance.

I will walk in faith.

I will walk in obedience.

I will walk with my eyes fixed upon Hashem.

And I will give all glory, honor, and praise to the Father.

May Your Kingdom come.
May Your will be done.
May Your name be sanctified.
May Your truth prevail.
May Your people walk in righteousness.
May Your mercy reach the broken.
May Your light overcome darkness.
May Yeshua be honored.
And may Hashem alone receive the glory.

In the name of Yeshua the Messiah, I pray. Amen.
