Healing Bible Verses for Anxiety & Fear - Daily Scripture Reflection Worksheet
Here is a gentle, Scripture-centered worksheet designed for someone who feels, “I’m anxious, overwhelmed, and I need God’s peace right now.” I’ve kept the Scripture selections to the Tanakh and the recorded words of Yeshua in the Gospels, as requested.
A Quiet Place to Breathe, Pray, Refocus, and Remember God’s Promises
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
πΏ Before You Begin: Take a Breath
Find a quiet place if you can.
Put both feet on the floor.
Relax your shoulders.
Take a slow breath in.
Then slowly breathe out.
You do not have to solve everything right now.
For these few moments, simply bring your heart before God.
Today I am feeling:
☐ Anxious
☐ Afraid
☐ Overwhelmed
☐ Sad
☐ Restless
☐ Exhausted
☐ Uncertain
☐ Lonely
☐ Hopeful
☐ Peaceful
☐ Other: ______________________________
What is weighing most heavily on my heart right now?
✨ Scripture Reflection 1
“Do Not Be Afraid”
Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, indeed, I will help you; indeed, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Pause & Reflect
God does not merely tell you to stop being afraid. He reminds you why you do not have to face fear alone:
He is with you.
He is your God.
He will strengthen you.
He will help you.
He will uphold you.
Guided Prompts
What am I afraid might happen?
Where do I need God's strength today?
What would it look like for me to trust that God is with me?
π️ Scripture Reflection 2
“Be Still”
Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Sometimes anxiety makes our thoughts race ahead of us.
This verse invites us to stop.
Not figure everything out.
Not control everything.
Not predict tomorrow.
Simply be still and remember who God is.
Try This
Close your eyes and slowly say:
“God is here.”
Breathe.
“God is with me.”
Breathe.
“God is my refuge.”
Breathe.
“I can be still.”
Reflection
What am I trying desperately to control?
What can I place into God's hands today?
πΈ Scripture Reflection 3
“I Will Give You Rest”
Words of Yeshua — Matthew 11:28
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Notice what Yeshua says:
Come to Me.
You don't have to come after you've fixed yourself.
You don't have to come after you've stopped worrying.
You don't have to come after you've become strong.
Come as you are.
Guided Reflection
What burden am I carrying today?
What do I want to place at Yeshua's feet?
My Prayer
“Father, I come to You with __________________________________.
I am carrying ______________________________________________.
I give this burden to You.
Help me receive the rest Yeshua offers me.
Amen.”
π Scripture Reflection 4
“Peace I Give You”
Words of Yeshua — John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I don't give to you as the world gives. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.”
Yeshua's peace is not dependent upon everything around you becoming perfect.
His words reach directly into the troubled heart:
Do not let your heart be troubled.
Reflection
What is troubling my heart right now?
What would I like to exchange for Yeshua's peace?
Fear → __________________________________________
Worry → _________________________________________
Confusion → ______________________________________
Overwhelm → _____________________________________
π‘️ Scripture Reflection 5
“God Is My Refuge”
Psalm 56:3–4
“When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. In God, I will praise His word. In God, I have put my trust. I will not be afraid.”
Notice the honesty:
“When I am afraid…”
The psalm doesn't pretend fear never happens.
Instead, it gives us a direction for our fear:
When I am afraid → I will trust God.
Complete the Pattern
When I am afraid of ______________________________,
I will put my trust in God.
When I am worried about __________________________,
I will put my trust in God.
When I don't know what will happen with __________,
I will put my trust in God.
πΏ Scripture Reflection 6
“Consider the Birds”
Words of Yeshua — Matthew 6:25–26
“Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life… Look at the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them.”
Yeshua redirects our attention.
Anxiety says:
“What if?”
Yeshua reminds us:
“Your heavenly Father knows.”
Guided Prompt
What “what if” has been occupying my thoughts?
Now write:
“My heavenly Father knows what I need.”
π Scripture Reflection 7
“The Lord Is My Shepherd”
Psalm 23:1–4
“The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul… Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.”
Imagine
A shepherd walking beside you.
Still waters.
Green pastures.
A restored soul.
Even through the valley, God is with you.
The promise isn't that you will never walk through difficult places.
The promise is:
You will not walk through them alone.
Reflection
Where do I need God to restore my soul?
What does “God is with me” mean to me today?

π️ What I Choose to Remember
π Guided Prayer for Peace
Father,
I come before You exactly as I am.
You see my anxious thoughts.
You see my fears.
You see the things I cannot explain to anyone else.
Your Word tells me that You are with me.
When I am afraid, help me trust You.
When I am overwhelmed, help me become still.
When my thoughts race, bring my heart back to You.
When I feel weak, strengthen me.
When I feel alone, remind me that You are near.
I receive the invitation of Yeshua:
“Come to Me… and I will give you rest.”
Father, quiet what needs to be quiet.
Strengthen what needs to be strengthened.
Heal what needs healing.
Guide what needs guidance.
Help me release what I cannot control.
Let Your peace settle over my heart and mind.
Today I choose to remember:
You are my refuge.
You are my shepherd.
You are with me.
You are my God.
I place this day, this situation, and my future into Your hands.
In the name of Yeshua,
Amen.

❤️ A Final Reminder
You don't have to conquer every fear in one day.
Sometimes faith looks like taking one breath, reading one verse, whispering one prayer, and choosing to trust God for the next moment.
When anxiety says, “I can't handle this,” remember:
God is with you.
When fear says, “You're alone,” remember:
God is your refuge.
When your heart says, “I need rest,” remember the invitation of Yeshua:
“Come to Me… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
One breath.
One prayer.
One promise.
One moment of trust at a time.
