Commanding the Gates to Open - Spiritual Warfare Prayer
A Messianic Jewish Spiritual Warfare Prayer for Breaking Spiritual Blockades Over Ministries, Finances, and Regions
Avinu Malkeinu, my Heavenly Father, Hashem, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
I come before You in humility, reverence, faith, and expectation.
You alone are God.
You are the Creator of heaven and earth.
You are the One who established the heavens, laid the foundations of the earth, commanded the seas, formed the mountains, appointed the boundaries of nations, and holds all creation in Your hand.
I bow before Your holiness.
I honor Your Name.
I declare that Hashem is God, and there is none besides You.
I declare that You are the King of glory.
You are the God who opens doors no human being can shut and who makes a way where there appears to be no way.
You are the God who brought Israel out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.
You are the God who divided the Red Sea.
You are the God who brought water from the rock.
You are the God who caused walls to fall before Your people.
You are the God who brought Your people through the wilderness.
You are the God who opened the Jordan River.
You are the God who establishes, delivers, provides, restores, and redeems.
Therefore, I place my trust in You.
I do not put my ultimate confidence in human strength.
I do not put my ultimate confidence in money.
I do not put my ultimate confidence in institutions.
I do not put my ultimate confidence in earthly systems.
My confidence is in You, Hashem.
"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of Hashem our God." — Psalm 20:7
Father, I lift my eyes toward You.
I lift my heart toward You.
I lift my faith toward You.
And I proclaim:
"The earth is Hashem's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein." — Psalm 24:1
Everything belongs to You.
Every ministry belongs to You.
Every righteous assignment belongs to You.
Every legitimate provision belongs to You.
Every resource needed to accomplish Your purposes belongs to You.
Every region belongs to You.
Every city belongs to You.
Every nation belongs to You.
Every gate belongs to You.
Every authority ultimately remains under Your sovereign rule.
So today, I stand before You and pray according to Psalm 24:
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in."
"Who is this King of glory? Hashem strong and mighty, Hashem mighty in battle."
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in."
"Who is this King of glory? Hashem of hosts, he is the King of glory."
— Psalm 24:7–10
Father, let these words become the cry of my heart.
Let every gate that You desire to open be opened according to Your will.
Let every legitimate door of opportunity, provision, communication, ministry, mercy, righteousness, justice, and Kingdom purpose open according to Your purposes.
Where there has been obstruction, bring breakthrough.
Where there has been confusion, bring clarity.
Where there has been delay, bring Your appointed timing.
Where there has been lack, provide according to Your wisdom.
Where communication has been hindered, establish truthful and righteous communication.
Where resources have been insufficient, show me what You have already placed within my hands.
Where people have been discouraged, renew their strength.
Where ministry has become weary, breathe fresh life.
Where the work has been scattered, establish order.
Where fear has entered, establish faith.
Where division has appeared, establish peace and truth.
Where there has been injustice, establish righteousness.
Where there has been deception, expose it by Your truth.
Where there has been darkness, let Your light shine.
Father, I ask You to remove every obstacle that stands contrary to Your will.
I ask You to close every door that should not be open.
And I ask You to open every door that You have appointed.
I do not ask for doors merely because they are attractive.
I ask for Your doors.
I do not ask for opportunities merely because they produce financial gain.
I ask for opportunities that glorify You.
I do not ask for influence merely so that I can become prominent.
I ask that whatever influence You entrust to me would point people toward righteousness, truth, mercy, repentance, and Your Kingdom.
I declare with the psalmist:
"The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is Hashem's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes." — Psalm 118:22–23
Father, let Your doing become evident.
Let Your hand be recognized.
Let Your Name be glorified.
Let no human being receive glory that belongs to You.
Let me never confuse an open door with success if that door leads me away from Your purposes.
Let me never confuse financial increase with Your approval.
Let me never confuse popularity with fruitfulness.
Let me never confuse activity with obedience.
Teach me to recognize the doors You open.
Teach me to recognize the doors You close.
Teach me to wait when You say wait.
Teach me to move when You say move.
Teach me to speak when You say speak.
Teach me to remain silent when You say be still.
For You declared through the prophet:
"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10
So I become still before You.
I surrender my plans.
I surrender my timetable.
I surrender my ambitions.
I surrender my ministry.
I surrender my finances.
I surrender my relationships.
I surrender my future.
I surrender my reputation.
I surrender my resources.
I surrender my understanding.
And I say:
Hashem, let Your will be done.
THE KING OF GLORY
Father, I proclaim that the King of glory is not money.
The King of glory is not government.
The King of glory is not an institution.
The King of glory is not a ministry personality.
The King of glory is not human power.
Hashem is the King of glory.
And I honor Your Son, Yeshua the Messiah, whom You sent.
Yeshua taught me:
"With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." — Matthew 19:26
Therefore, I refuse to measure Your possibilities by my circumstances.
I refuse to measure Your provision by my present bank account.
I refuse to measure Your calling by my current visibility.
I refuse to measure Your faithfulness by temporary conditions.
I look to You.
I trust You.
I wait upon You.
I believe You.
And I ask You to make me faithful with whatever You place in my hands.
Yeshua taught:
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." — Matthew 6:33
Therefore, Father, I seek Your Kingdom first.
Before money, I seek Your Kingdom.
Before recognition, I seek Your Kingdom.
Before expansion, I seek Your Kingdom.
Before influence, I seek Your Kingdom.
Before open doors, I seek Your Kingdom.
Before increase, I seek Your righteousness.
Let the purpose of every open gate be that Your Kingdom may advance and Your Name may be glorified.
BREAKING THE BLOCKADE
Father, wherever there is a blockade that is contrary to Your purposes, I ask You to remove it.
I do not place my confidence in the power of my own words.
I place my confidence in You.
I ask You to go before me.
I ask You to make crooked places straight.
I ask You to level mountains that You have appointed to be removed.
I ask You to make paths where there was no visible path.
As You declared through Isaiah:
"I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron." — Isaiah 45:2
Father, go before me.
Break what You have appointed to be broken.
Open what You have appointed to be opened.
Remove what You have appointed to be removed.
Restore what You have appointed to be restored.
Establish what You have appointed to be established.
And give me wisdom to distinguish between a spiritual blockade and an ordinary circumstance that requires patience, planning, correction, diligence, or perseverance.
Do not allow me to blame spiritual opposition for what I need to take responsibility for.
Give me wisdom.
Give me discernment.
Give me humility.
Give me courage.
Give me patience.
Give me understanding.
Let me work diligently while trusting You completely.
THE SHIELD OF YESHUA'S BLOOD
Father, I come under the mercy and protection You provide through Yeshua the Messiah.
I declare my faith in Yeshua.
I place my trust in Him.
I remember the words He spoke concerning His life and sacrifice.
At the Passover meal, Yeshua took the cup and said:
"For this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." — Matthew 26:28
Therefore, Father, I ask You to cover me, my household, and every righteous assignment You have entrusted to me by Your mercy through Yeshua.
Let the sacrifice of Yeshua continually remind me that redemption comes from You.
Let me never treat His blood as a magical formula.
Let me never treat Your holiness casually.
Instead, let the blood of Yeshua remind me of covenant, forgiveness, mercy, obedience, and redemption.
Let His sacrifice strengthen my faith.
Let His sacrifice humble my heart.
Let His sacrifice remind me that I belong to You.
Father, protect me from fear.
Protect me from deception.
Protect me from pride.
Protect me from hatred.
Protect me from bitterness.
Protect me from vengeance.
Protect me from spiritual arrogance.
Protect me from false accusations.
Protect me from destructive relationships.
Protect me from dishonest gain.
Protect me from compromising Your truth merely to obtain an open door.
Let the shield of Yeshua's blood remind me that my ultimate victory is not financial, political, social, or earthly.
My ultimate victory is belonging to You.
LET THE FIRE OF GOD BURN AWAY EVERY IMPEDIMENT
Holy Father, I ask for the fire of God.
Let Your holy fire purify me before I ask You to purify anything around me.
Burn away pride.
Burn away selfish ambition.
Burn away greed.
Burn away jealousy.
Burn away resentment.
Burn away fear.
Burn away unbelief.
Burn away dishonesty.
Burn away bitterness.
Burn away compromise.
Burn away everything in me that does not honor You.
Your prophet declared:
"Is not my word like as a fire? saith Hashem; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?" — Jeremiah 23:29
Father, let Your Word burn brightly within me.
Let Your Word break hardened places within my heart.
Let Your Word expose what needs correction.
Let Your Word strengthen what is righteous.
Let Your Word illuminate every decision.
Let Your Word become a lamp unto my feet.
As the psalmist declared:
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." — Psalm 119:105
Let Your fire consume falsehood.
Let Your truth remain.
Let Your holiness govern my decisions.
Let Your presence go before me.
OPEN THE GATES OF MINISTRY
Father, I pray concerning every ministry assignment You have entrusted to me.
If You have called me to serve, provide what is necessary for me to serve faithfully.
If You have called me to teach, give me wisdom.
If You have called me to encourage, give me compassion.
If You have called me to preach, give me truth and courage.
If You have called me to serve the poor, give me resources and wisdom.
If You have called me to reach people, open the appropriate relationships.
If You have called me to build, provide the necessary materials.
If You have called me to go, provide the way.
If You have called me to remain, give me endurance.
If You have called me to wait, give me patience.
If You have called me to speak, give me words.
If You have called me to listen, give me humility.
Let every ministry gate open according to Your will.
And if a door must remain closed, give me peace.
Yeshua said:
"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved." — John 10:9
Father, let Yeshua remain the Door through which my ministry operates.
Let me never make myself the door.
Let me never make money the door.
Let me never make fame the door.
Let me never make political influence the door.
Let me never make human approval the door.
Let Yeshua be the Door.
Let righteousness guard the entrance.
Let truth guard the entrance.
Let humility guard the entrance.
Let love guard the entrance.
Let holiness guard the entrance.
OPEN THE GATES OF PROVISION
Father, I bring my financial needs before You.
You know what I need before I ask.
You taught through Moses:
"But thou shalt remember Hashem thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant." — Deuteronomy 8:18
Therefore, I acknowledge You as my Provider.
I ask You to give me wisdom to manage what You provide.
Teach me stewardship.
Teach me discipline.
Teach me generosity.
Teach me contentment.
Teach me diligence.
Teach me honesty.
Teach me patience.
Teach me to avoid greed.
Teach me to avoid foolish financial decisions.
Teach me to distinguish legitimate opportunity from deception.
Father, open the gates of honest provision.
Open the gates of legitimate employment.
Open the gates of righteous business opportunities.
Open the gates of appropriate partnerships.
Open the gates of wise investments when appropriate.
Open the gates of generosity.
Open the gates of provision for ministry.
Open the gates of resources needed to fulfill righteous assignments.
But close every gate that would lead me into greed, exploitation, dishonesty, bondage, or compromise.
I remember the words of Yeshua:
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal." — Matthew 6:19
Therefore, Father, do not merely increase my possessions.
Increase my wisdom.
Increase my faithfulness.
Increase my ability to serve.
Increase my compassion.
Increase my generosity.
Increase my capacity to bless others.
Let provision become a servant of Your purposes rather than a master over my heart.
OPEN THE GATES OF COMMUNICATION
Father, where communication has become blocked, confused, distorted, or broken, bring truth and clarity.
Open righteous channels of communication.
Restore conversations that should be restored.
Bring reconciliation where reconciliation is possible.
Give wisdom concerning conversations that should not occur.
Protect me from gossip.
Protect me from slander.
Protect me from manipulation.
Protect me from misrepresentation.
Protect me from careless speech.
The Proverbs declare:
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue." — Proverbs 18:21
Therefore, sanctify my speech.
Let my words bring life.
Let my words bring truth.
Let my words bring healing.
Let my words bring wisdom.
Let my words bring reconciliation where appropriate.
Let my words never become weapons of destruction.
Yeshua taught:
"For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." — Matthew 12:37
Father, put a guard over my mouth.
Let me speak truth without cruelty.
Let me speak boldly without arrogance.
Let me speak with conviction without hatred.
Let me speak with courage without dishonoring others.
Let my communication glorify You.
OPEN THE GATES OVER REGIONS
Father, I pray for cities, communities, territories, and regions.
You declared:
"The earth is Hashem's, and the fulness thereof." — Psalm 24:1
Therefore, I recognize that every region ultimately belongs to You.
I pray for righteousness to increase.
I pray for mercy to increase.
I pray for truth to increase.
I pray for justice to increase.
I pray for compassion to increase.
I pray for people to turn away from evil.
I pray for families to be strengthened.
I pray for children to be protected.
I pray for the vulnerable to receive help.
I pray for the poor to receive justice.
I pray for leaders to act with wisdom and integrity.
I pray for houses of worship to pursue truth and holiness.
I pray for communities to experience peace.
I pray that Your light would shine through people who faithfully serve You.
Father, open gates for righteous service throughout these regions.
Open doors for people to feed the hungry.
Open doors for people to shelter the vulnerable.
Open doors for people to teach Your Word faithfully.
Open doors for people to proclaim repentance and the good news.
Open doors for reconciliation.
Open doors for mercy.
Open doors for healing.
Open doors for justice.
Open doors for truth.
Let every legitimate gate that serves righteousness be strengthened.
WHEN THE GATE APPEARS CLOSED
Father, when I encounter a closed gate, help me not to panic.
Help me not to assume that You have abandoned me.
Help me not to become bitter.
Help me not to accuse You.
Help me not to compromise my convictions simply to force an opening.
Teach me to wait.
Teach me to pray.
Teach me to work.
Teach me to prepare.
Teach me to learn.
Teach me to repent when correction is necessary.
Teach me to persevere.
Yeshua said:
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." — Matthew 7:7
Therefore, I ask.
I seek.
I knock.
And I trust You with the answer.
If the answer is yes, give me humility.
If the answer is wait, give me patience.
If the answer is no, give me peace.
If the answer requires preparation, give me discipline.
If the answer requires repentance, give me humility.
If the answer requires perseverance, give me endurance.
If the answer requires a change of direction, give me courage.
I trust Your wisdom more than my own understanding.
COMMANDING THE GATES IN FAITH
Father, in the authority and confidence You give me through faith in Yeshua, I declare:
Let the gates that You have ordained open.
Let the doors You have prepared open.
Let the paths You have established become visible.
Let righteous opportunities appear.
Let necessary relationships form.
Let needed resources arrive through legitimate means.
Let communication become clear.
Let confusion give way to understanding.
Let fear give way to courage.
Let despair give way to hope.
Let discouragement give way to endurance.
Let disorder give way to righteous order.
Let every obstacle You have appointed to remove be removed.
Let every gate You have appointed to remain closed remain closed.
Let Your wisdom govern every opening.
Let Your holiness govern every opportunity.
Let Your truth govern every relationship.
Let Your Kingdom govern every assignment.
And above everything else:
Let the King of glory come in.
THE KING OF GLORY ENTERS
I lift my voice and proclaim:
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in."
Who is the King of glory?
Hashem, strong and mighty.
Who is the King of glory?
Hashem, mighty in battle.
Who is the King of glory?
Hashem of hosts.
He is the King of glory.
Father, let Your presence enter.
Let Your truth enter.
Let Your righteousness enter.
Let Your mercy enter.
Let Your wisdom enter.
Let Your peace enter.
Let Your Kingdom purposes enter.
And let every gate that is contrary to Your purposes lose its power to obstruct what You have ordained.
I declare that no circumstance is greater than You.
No financial difficulty is greater than You.
No closed opportunity is greater than You.
No human rejection is greater than You.
No geographical boundary is greater than You.
No earthly institution is greater than You.
No obstacle is greater than You.
No darkness is greater than Your light.
For You declared:
"The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." — John 1:5
Therefore, I refuse to surrender to darkness.
I choose faith.
I choose obedience.
I choose truth.
I choose perseverance.
I choose righteousness.
I choose hope.
FATHER, BE GLORIFIED
Above everything else, Father, be glorified.
If You open the gate, be glorified.
If You provide the finances, be glorified.
If You expand the ministry, be glorified.
If You restore communication, be glorified.
If You establish the work, be glorified.
If You bring people together, be glorified.
If You send me somewhere new, be glorified.
If You keep me where I am, be glorified.
If You give me abundance, be glorified.
If You teach me contentment, be glorified.
If You give me influence, be glorified.
If You keep me hidden for a season, be glorified.
I do not want an open door without Your presence.
I do not want increase without righteousness.
I do not want expansion without obedience.
I do not want wealth without wisdom.
I do not want influence without humility.
I do not want ministry without holiness.
I do not want success without Your glory.
I want You.
I want Your Kingdom.
I want Your righteousness.
I want Your truth.
I want Your presence.
I want Your will.
Yeshua taught:
"Not my will, but thine, be done." — Luke 22:42
So I make this my prayer:
Not my will, but Yours.
Not my kingdom, but Yours.
Not my glory, but Yours.
Not my reputation, but Yours.
Not my agenda, but Yours.
Not my timing, but Yours.
Not my understanding, but Yours.
Your Kingdom come.
A FINAL DECLARATION OF FAITH
Father, I stand before You today and declare:
The earth belongs to You.
The fullness of the earth belongs to You.
My life belongs to You.
My ministry belongs to You.
My resources belong to You.
My future belongs to You.
My gifts belong to You.
My opportunities belong to You.
My relationships belong to You.
My assignments belong to You.
My worship belongs to You.
Therefore, I surrender everything into Your hands.
I declare:
Lift up your heads, O gates.
Be lifted up, everlasting doors.
Let the King of glory come in.
Let righteous gates open.
Let righteous doors open.
Let righteous pathways open.
Let righteous relationships open.
Let righteous opportunities open.
Let righteous communication open.
Let righteous provision open.
Let righteous ministry opportunities open.
Let righteous regional assignments open.
And where You have determined that a door must remain closed, give me the grace to accept Your wisdom.
I will not force what You have not ordained.
I will not manipulate people to create an opening.
I will not compromise truth to obtain access.
I will not sacrifice righteousness for financial gain.
I will not sacrifice holiness for influence.
I will not sacrifice obedience for popularity.
I will wait for You.
I will trust You.
I will obey You.
I will seek You.
I will knock.
I will ask.
I will seek.
I will keep my eyes upon You.
And when the gate opens, I will remember Who opened it.
When provision comes, I will remember Who provided it.
When the ministry grows, I will remember Who called me.
When the door opens, I will remember the King of glory.
When breakthrough comes, I will give You the praise.
When opposition comes, I will continue trusting You.
When the path becomes difficult, I will continue walking with You.
When I do not understand, I will continue believing You.
For as the psalmist declared:
"I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of Hashem in the land of the living." — Psalm 27:13
Therefore, I believe.
I hope.
I wait.
I worship.
I stand.
I pray.
I declare:
Hashem is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
Hashem is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? — Psalm 27:1
Father, let Your Kingdom expand.
Let Your Name be sanctified.
Let Your truth go forth.
Let Your mercy reach people.
Let Your righteousness be established.
Let Your people walk faithfully.
Let the gates of righteous opportunity open.
Let the doors of ministry open.
Let the doors of provision open.
Let the doors of reconciliation open.
Let the doors of communication open.
Let the doors of service open.
Let the doors of Kingdom purpose open.
And above all:
Let the King of glory come in.
I place every ministry gate, every financial need, every regional assignment, every opportunity, every relationship, every resource, and every future decision into Your hands.
I trust You, Avinu Malkeinu.
I honor You, Hashem.
I worship You as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
I place my faith in Your promises.
I cling to Your Word.
I trust in Your mercy.
I receive the redemption You have provided through Yeshua the Messiah.
I ask that the sacrifice of Yeshua continually remind me that victory belongs to You and that every blessing must ultimately become an instrument of Your glory.
Let the shield of Yeshua's blood remind me of covenant and redemption.
Let the fire of God purify my heart.
Let Your Word guide my feet.
Let Your Spirit lead me into truth.
Let Your Kingdom advance.
Let Your Name be exalted.
Let Your glory fill what You have called me to build.
And let me never forget:
The King of glory is coming in.
The King of glory is strong and mighty.
The King of glory is mighty in battle.
The King of glory is Hashem of hosts.
He is the King of glory.
Therefore, I lift my eyes.
I lift my heart.
I lift my hands.
I lift my faith.
And I declare:
LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, O GATES!
BE LIFTED UP, EVERLASTING DOORS!
LET THE KING OF GLORY COME IN!
HASHEM IS THE KING OF GLORY!
May the Father be glorified.
May the Kingdom of God expand.
May righteousness increase.
May truth prevail.
May mercy abound.
May Yeshua be honored.
And may every open door serve the purposes of the Most High.
In the holy and mighty name of Yeshua the Messiah, I pray. Amen.
