Combating the Spirit of Leviathan - Spiritual Warfare Prayer Against Pride, Deception, Secrecy, Illusion

Combating the Spirit of Leviathan - Spiritual Warfare Prayer Against Pride, Deception, Secrecy, Illusion

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in humility, reverence, and faith.

I come before You in the name of Yeshua, acknowledging that You alone are God, that Your name is holy, that Your ways are righteous, and that Your truth stands forever.

Hashem, I lift my eyes toward You.

You are my refuge.

You are my shelter.

You are my defender.

You are the One who sees what I cannot see, knows what I cannot know, and brings hidden things into the light.

I ask You to glorify Your holy name in my life.

Let Your Kingdom come.

Let Your will be done.

Let Your Kingdom expand through Yeshua.

Let truth overcome deception.

Let righteousness overcome corruption.

Let humility overcome pride.

Let light overcome darkness.

Let wisdom overcome confusion.

Let discernment overcome illusion.

And let everything hidden that is contrary to Your will be exposed according to Your truth.

Hashem, I acknowledge the words written in Job:

“Behold, he is a king over all the children of pride.”

—Job 41:34

Father, I do not want to become a prisoner of pride.

I do not want deception to become my normal.

I do not want secrecy to govern my decisions.

I do not want illusion to determine what I believe.

I do not want appearances to become more important to me than truth.

I do not want my own understanding to become an idol.

I do not want fear, suspicion, arrogance, confusion, or hidden motives to control my heart.

Search me, Father.

Reveal me to myself.

Show me anything within me that resists Your truth.

Show me every place where pride has entered.

Show me every place where deception has influenced my thinking.

Show me every place where I have accepted an appearance instead of seeking truth.

Show me every place where I have trusted human wisdom above Your Word.

And give me courage to repent.

Father, Bring Hidden Things Into the Light

Heavenly Father, I ask You to shine Your light into every hidden place.

Where there is confusion, bring clarity.

Where there is deception, bring truth.

Where there is manipulation, bring discernment.

Where there is false appearance, reveal reality.

Where there is secrecy used for evil, expose what needs to be exposed.

Where there are concealed motives, give me wisdom without making me suspicious of everyone around me.

Where there are false accusations, establish truth.

Where there are lies, let truth stand.

Where there is fear, give me courage.

Where there is pride, teach me humility.

Where there is spiritual confusion, establish my heart in Your Word.

Your Word declares:

“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known, and come abroad.”

—Luke 12:2

Father, let this truth become deeply rooted within me.

Nothing is ultimately hidden from You.

No secret is beyond Your sight.

No deception can outmaneuver Your wisdom.

No darkness can overpower Your light.

No hidden scheme can escape Your knowledge.

I therefore refuse to live in fear of what I cannot see.

Instead, I choose to trust the One who sees everything.

You are my Father.

You are my refuge.

You are my shield.

You are my strong tower.

Hashem, Guard My Mind Against Illusion

Father, protect my mind.

Protect my imagination.

Protect my memories.

Protect my perceptions.

Protect my emotions.

Protect my understanding.

Protect my dreams.

Protect my decisions.

Protect me from believing something simply because it looks convincing.

Yeshua warned:

“Take heed that no man deceive you.”

—Matthew 24:4

I receive those words as a solemn warning.

Father, teach me to take heed.

Teach me not to be careless with what I believe.

Teach me not to accept every voice.

Teach me not to follow every spiritual manifestation.

Teach me not to confuse emotional intensity with truth.

Teach me not to mistake secrecy for holiness.

Teach me not to mistake charisma for righteousness.

Teach me not to mistake supernatural claims for Your authority.

Teach me to examine everything according to Your Word.

Let me become slow to believe rumors and quick to seek truth.

Let me become slow to accuse and quick to listen.

Let me become slow to boast and quick to humble myself.

Let me become slow to react and quick to pray.

Father, give me discernment without paranoia.

Give me wisdom without arrogance.

Give me vigilance without fear.

Give me spiritual awareness without obsession.

Give me courage without recklessness.

Give me humility without weakness.

Give me confidence in You without confidence in my own flesh.

I Renounce Pride

Heavenly Father, I humble myself before You.

I confess that pride is dangerous.

Pride can make a person believe that he sees everything when he sees very little.

Pride can make a person believe that he understands everything when he understands very little.

Pride can make a person refuse correction.

Pride can make a person defend what should be surrendered.

Pride can make a person protect an illusion because admitting the truth would require repentance.

Father, I do not want that kind of heart.

I want a teachable heart.

I want a humble heart.

I want a repentant heart.

I want a heart that trembles at Your Word.

Your Word says:

“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.”

—Proverbs 8:13

Hashem, teach me holy reverence.

Teach me to hate what You call evil rather than merely hating what inconveniences me.

Teach me to recognize pride when it appears in my own heart.

When I am wrong, help me admit it.

When I need correction, help me receive it.

When I need to apologize, help me humble myself.

When I need to change direction, give me courage to change.

When I do not know something, help me say, “I do not know.”

When I misunderstand someone, help me seek understanding.

When I am tempted to exalt myself, remind me that You alone deserve glory.

Father, Break the Power of Deception

Hashem, I ask You to protect me from deception.

Your Son Yeshua said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

—John 14:6

Therefore, Father, anchor me in truth.

Let truth become more precious to me than comfort.

Let truth become more precious to me than reputation.

Let truth become more precious to me than being right.

Let truth become more precious to me than winning an argument.

Let truth become more precious to me than maintaining an illusion.

If I am believing something false, correct me.

If I am misunderstanding a situation, illuminate it.

If I am deceiving myself, expose it.

If someone is deceiving me, give me wisdom.

If I am deceiving someone else, convict me and lead me to repentance.

I do not want darkness.

I want truth.

I do not want counterfeit spirituality.

I want genuine obedience.

I do not want appearances.

I want righteousness.

I do not want empty religious performance.

I want a heart that truly loves You.

Shield Me With the Blood of Yeshua

Heavenly Father, I come under the protection of the sacrifice of Yeshua.

I ask You to cover me with the shield of Yeshua's blood.

Let the sacrifice of Yeshua remind me that my confidence is not in my own strength.

My confidence is in Your mercy.

My confidence is in Your faithfulness.

My confidence is in Your truth.

My confidence is in the Messiah You sent.

I remember the words of Yeshua at the Passover meal:

“This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

—Matthew 26:28

Father, let the significance of His sacrifice transform my heart.

Let me never treat His blood as a magical formula.

Let me never use His name as an empty incantation.

Instead, let His sacrifice lead me into repentance, obedience, humility, forgiveness, and truth.

Let the blood of Yeshua remind me that sin is serious, mercy is precious, and redemption is costly.

Where accusation seeks to overwhelm me, remind me of Your mercy.

Where shame tries to keep me imprisoned, lead me into repentance and restoration.

Where pride tells me I need no mercy, humble me.

Where despair tells me I am beyond redemption, remind me of Your compassion.

Let the Fire of God Purify Me

Father, I ask for the fire of God to burn away everything in me that does not belong to You.

Let Your holy fire purify my motives.

Purify my thoughts.

Purify my desires.

Purify my speech.

Purify my relationships.

Purify my ambitions.

Purify my spiritual understanding.

Purify my motives for ministry.

Purify my motives for prayer.

Purify my motives for serving others.

Purify everything hidden within me.

Malachi declares:

“But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire.”

—Malachi 3:2

Father, refine me.

Do not merely change what people see.

Change what You see when You examine my heart.

Remove spiritual arrogance.

Remove deception.

Remove bitterness.

Remove envy.

Remove jealousy.

Remove vanity.

Remove hypocrisy.

Remove the desire to control others.

Remove the desire to appear more spiritual than I really am.

Remove the desire to receive glory that belongs to You.

Let Your fire consume everything that competes with Your holiness.

Give Me the Eyes to See Clearly

Father, open my spiritual eyes.

Not so that I become fascinated with darkness, but so that I become established in Your light.

Not so that I become obsessed with hidden things, but so that I become grounded in what You have revealed.

Not so that I chase mysteries, but so that I faithfully walk in truth.

Your Word says:

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”

—Psalm 119:130

Therefore, let Your Word illuminate my path.

When I am confused, bring me back to Your Word.

When I am frightened, bring me back to Your Word.

When someone presents a complicated spiritual theory, bring me back to Your Word.

When I encounter something that seems supernatural, bring me back to Your Word.

When I do not know what to believe, teach me to wait upon You.

I will not build my life on speculation.

I will not build my faith on rumors.

I will not build my identity on hidden knowledge.

I will build my life upon obedience to You.

Yeshua, Teach Me to Recognize the Voice of Truth

Father, I remember the words of Yeshua:

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

—John 8:32

Let Your truth make me free.

Free from deception.

Free from spiritual intimidation.

Free from fear.

Free from pride.

Free from compulsive suspicion.

Free from false appearances.

Free from manipulation.

Free from the need to control what I cannot control.

Free from the desire to know what You have not chosen to reveal.

Free to walk humbly with You.

Free to love.

Free to forgive.

Free to repent.

Free to obey.

Free to tell the truth.

Free to admit when I am wrong.

Free to pursue righteousness.

Father, let my freedom be rooted in truth.

Protect Me From False Signs and Counterfeits

Heavenly Father, Yeshua warned that deception could become powerful and convincing.

He said:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders.”

—Matthew 24:24

Father, give me discernment.

Do not let me chase signs while neglecting obedience.

Do not let me chase mysteries while ignoring Your commandments.

Do not let me become fascinated with spiritual manifestations while neglecting love, mercy, justice, humility, and truth.

Teach me to test what I encounter.

Teach me to ask whether something produces righteousness or pride.

Teach me to ask whether something draws me toward truth or confusion.

Teach me to ask whether something produces humility or self-exaltation.

Teach me to ask whether something agrees with what You have revealed.

Father, protect me from counterfeits.

Protect me from spiritual deception disguised as enlightenment.

Protect me from lies disguised as revelation.

Protect me from manipulation disguised as prophecy.

Protect me from pride disguised as spiritual authority.

Protect me from fear disguised as discernment.

Protect me from secrecy disguised as holiness.

Break the Cycle of Hidden Pride

Hashem, if the spirit of pride has found any place in my life, expose it.

If pride has entered my family relationships, bring humility.

If pride has entered my friendships, bring humility.

If pride has entered my work, bring humility.

If pride has entered my ministry, bring humility.

If pride has entered my prayers, bring humility.

If pride has entered my spiritual warfare, bring humility.

If pride has entered my understanding of Scripture, bring humility.

If pride has entered my heart, uproot it.

Your Word warns:

“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

—Proverbs 16:18

Father, I do not want to walk toward destruction while believing I am walking toward victory.

Keep me humble.

Keep me teachable.

Keep me accountable.

Keep me grounded.

Let me never become so convinced of my own spiritual understanding that I stop listening.

Give Me Wisdom to Handle Hidden Things

Father, I understand that not everything hidden is necessarily evil.

There are things I simply do not know.

There are things I do not yet understand.

There are mysteries beyond human knowledge.

Therefore, teach me the difference between godly discernment and unhealthy obsession.

Help me leave what belongs to You in Your hands.

Moses declared:

“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us.”

—Deuteronomy 29:29

Father, I receive that wisdom.

The secret things belong to You.

I do not have to know everything.

I do not have to uncover everything.

I do not have to understand everything.

I do not have to solve every mystery.

I do not have to investigate every hidden matter.

I simply need to faithfully obey what You have revealed.

Let this truth bring peace to my soul.

Protect My Home

Heavenly Father, I ask You to establish peace within my home.

Let my home be a place of truth.

Let my home be a place of prayer.

Let my home be a place of righteousness.

Let my home be a place where deception does not rule.

Let my home be a place where people can speak honestly.

Let my home be a place where forgiveness is practiced.

Let my home be a place where Your name is honored.

As for me, let my household and I serve You.

Joshua declared:

“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

—Joshua 24:15

Father, establish that commitment within me.

Let my household be dedicated to You.

Protect us from deception.

Protect us from destructive pride.

Protect us from manipulation.

Protect us from falsehood.

Protect us from spiritual confusion.

Give us wisdom in every decision.

Give us discernment concerning every influence we permit into our lives.

Protect My Words

Father, put a guard over my mouth.

Do not allow me to become a carrier of deception.

Do not allow me to repeat accusations without evidence.

Do not allow me to spread rumors.

Do not allow me to manipulate others.

Do not allow me to weaponize spiritual language.

Do not allow me to use Scripture to control people.

Do not allow me to speak with certainty where You have given me no certainty.

David prayed:

“Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.”

—Psalm 141:3

I make that prayer my own.

Set a watch over my mouth.

Let my words bring life.

Let my words carry truth.

Let my words reflect humility.

Let my words honor You.

Father, Defend Me From False Accusation

Hashem, if hidden accusations have been spoken against me, You know the truth.

If someone has misunderstood me, give me wisdom.

If someone has lied about me, establish the truth.

If I have genuinely done wrong, give me humility to repent.

I refuse to answer deception with deception.

I refuse to answer hatred with hatred.

I refuse to answer manipulation with manipulation.

I refuse to become what I am fighting against.

Yeshua taught:

“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

—Matthew 5:9

Father, make me a peacemaker.

Give me strength to speak truth without hatred.

Give me courage to establish boundaries without revenge.

Give me wisdom to walk away from destructive conflict when necessary.

Give me discernment to know when to speak and when to remain silent.

Let Your Light Search My Heart

Father, I ask You to examine my heart.

Search the places I hide from everyone else.

Search the places I hide even from myself.

David prayed:

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.”

—Psalm 139:23

I pray the same.

Search me.

Test me.

Correct me.

Cleanse me.

Restore me.

If there is wickedness within me, lead me away from it.

If there is pride within me, humble me.

If there is deception within me, expose it.

If there is unforgiveness within me, soften me.

If there is fear within me, strengthen me.

If there is bitterness within me, heal my relationships where possible.

If there is arrogance within me, teach me to serve.

If there is spiritual laziness within me, awaken me.

I Choose Truth Over Illusion

Today I choose truth.

I choose light.

I choose humility.

I choose obedience.

I choose repentance.

I choose wisdom.

I choose discernment.

I choose mercy.

I choose righteousness.

I choose to trust Hashem rather than my fears.

I choose to seek Your Kingdom rather than build my own kingdom.

I choose to glorify the Father rather than glorify myself.

I choose to follow Yeshua rather than follow deception.

I choose to remain grounded in what You have revealed.

Father, when illusion looks attractive, remind me of truth.

When deception sounds persuasive, remind me of Your Word.

When pride feels powerful, remind me of humility.

When fear becomes loud, remind me that You are near.

When confusion surrounds me, teach me to become still.

Your Word declares:

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

—Psalm 46:10

So I become still before You.

I do not have to fight every battle through human strength.

I do not have to understand every mystery.

I do not have to expose every hidden thing.

You are God.

You see.

You know.

You judge righteously.

You defend Your people.

You reveal what needs to be revealed.

Father, Establish Me in Your Kingdom

Heavenly Father, let Your Kingdom become the center of my life.

Yeshua taught me to pray:

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

—Matthew 6:10

Therefore, Father, let Your Kingdom come into my heart.

Let Your Kingdom come into my home.

Let Your Kingdom come into my decisions.

Let Your Kingdom come into my relationships.

Let Your Kingdom come into my work.

Let Your Kingdom come into my thoughts.

Let Your Kingdom come into every area of my life.

Where pride has established a throne, establish humility.

Where deception has established a throne, establish truth.

Where fear has established a throne, establish faith.

Where confusion has established a throne, establish wisdom.

Where bitterness has established a throne, establish forgiveness.

Where darkness has established a throne, let Your light shine.

And let everything within me that resists Your righteous rule bow before Your authority.

I Will Not Fear Leviathan

Father, I refuse to magnify the enemy above You.

Job describes Leviathan with frightening imagery, but the same passage reminds me of Your absolute sovereignty over creation.

You are greater than every creature.

You are greater than every power.

You are greater than every deception.

You are greater than every hidden scheme.

You are greater than every manifestation of pride.

You are greater than every darkness.

You are greater than every fear.

Therefore, I will not become obsessed with Leviathan.

I will not glorify Leviathan.

I will not give darkness more attention than I give You.

I will keep my eyes on Hashem.

I will keep my heart toward You.

I will keep my mind anchored in Your truth.

I will keep my feet upon the path of righteousness.

Father, Teach Me Spiritual Warfare With Wisdom

Teach me that spiritual warfare is not an excuse for pride.

Teach me that discernment is not permission to accuse everyone.

Teach me that recognizing deception does not make me superior to those who are deceived.

Teach me compassion.

Teach me patience.

Teach me wisdom.

Teach me self-control.

Teach me truth.

Teach me humility.

Let me fight darkness without becoming consumed by darkness.

Let me resist deception without becoming suspicious of everyone.

Let me confront evil without abandoning mercy.

Let me establish boundaries without hatred.

Let me speak truth without arrogance.

Let me walk in spiritual authority without becoming proud.

Yeshua said:

“If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.”

—John 8:31

Father, let me continue in His Word.

Let perseverance become my spiritual weapon.

Let obedience become my defense.

Let truth become my foundation.

Let prayer become my refuge.

Let humility become my posture.

Let love become my expression.

Let righteousness become my way of life.

A Prayer of Surrender

Heavenly Father, I surrender my need to understand everything.

I surrender my need to control everything.

I surrender my need to expose everything.

I surrender my need to prove myself.

I surrender my need to be recognized.

I surrender my need to always be right.

I surrender my fear of hidden things.

I surrender my fascination with mysteries that You have not revealed.

I surrender every false belief.

I surrender every deceptive thought.

I surrender every proud ambition.

I surrender every secret place of my heart that resists Your correction.

Hashem, You are my God.

You are my King.

You are my Father.

You are the One I trust.

Let the Fire of God Go Before Me

Father, let the fire of God purify the path before me.

Where I need to walk away, give me courage.

Where I need to remain, give me endurance.

Where I need to speak, give me wisdom.

Where I need to be silent, give me restraint.

Where I need to repent, give me humility.

Where I need to forgive, give me grace.

Where I need to establish boundaries, give me strength.

Where I need to wait, give me patience.

Where I need to act, give me courage.

Let Your holy fire consume deception and purify my motives.

Let nothing counterfeit remain in my heart.

My Declaration of Faith

Today I declare:

I belong to Hashem.

I will seek truth.

I will walk in humility.

I will reject pride.

I will resist deception.

I will not surrender my mind to fear.

I will not surrender my heart to confusion.

I will not surrender my identity to accusation.

I will not surrender my discernment to paranoia.

I will not surrender my faith to appearances.

I will seek the Kingdom of God.

I will listen carefully to the words of Yeshua.

I will remain grounded in the Scriptures.

I will pursue righteousness.

I will practice mercy.

I will forgive.

I will repent when I am wrong.

I will tell the truth.

I will refuse to become a vessel of deception.

I will not magnify darkness.

I will magnify Hashem.

I will not exalt Leviathan.

I will exalt the God of Israel.

Father, Be Glorified

Heavenly Father, let everything I do bring glory to You.

Let my life testify that You are faithful.

Let my prayers glorify You.

Let my obedience glorify You.

Let my repentance glorify You.

Let my humility glorify You.

Let my testimony glorify You.

Let my victories glorify You.

Even my battles—let them become opportunities for Your faithfulness to be displayed.

I do not want the attention.

You deserve the glory.

I do not want to build my own kingdom.

I want Your Kingdom.

I do not want people to marvel at me.

I want people to recognize Your goodness.

I do not want my name exalted.

I want Your name honored.

Hashem, may Your name be sanctified.

May Your Kingdom expand through Yeshua.

May truth prevail.

May righteousness increase.

May mercy flow.

May the oppressed find justice.

May the deceived encounter truth.

May the proud discover humility.

May the broken discover mercy.

May those walking in darkness encounter Your light.

And may my life become an instrument through which Your goodness is revealed.

Final Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I place myself completely into Your hands.

I ask You to surround me with Your protection.

Cover me with the shield of Yeshua's blood.

Purify me with the fire of God.

Guard my heart from pride.

Guard my mind from deception.

Guard my eyes from illusion.

Guard my ears from lies.

Guard my mouth from falsehood.

Guard my feet from destructive paths.

Guard my household with Your wisdom.

Give me discernment without fear.

Give me courage without arrogance.

Give me knowledge without pride.

Give me spiritual understanding without obsession.

Give me wisdom to recognize what is counterfeit.

Give me humility to recognize when I am wrong.

Give me strength to reject deception.

Give me grace to forgive.

Give me courage to repent.

Give me patience to wait.

Give me faith to trust You when I cannot see.

I declare that hidden things are not hidden from You.

Illusions are not greater than Your truth.

Darkness is not greater than Your light.

Pride is not greater than Your holiness.

Deception is not greater than Your wisdom.

Fear is not greater than Your presence.

And Leviathan is not greater than the God of Israel.

You alone are worthy of my trust.

You alone are worthy of my worship.

You alone are worthy of my obedience.

Father, establish Your Kingdom in me.

Establish Your Kingdom in my household.

Establish Your Kingdom in every place where You have called me to serve.

Let Your will be done.

Let Your truth prevail.

Let Your righteousness shine.

Let Your mercy endure.

Let Your holy fire purify.

Let the sacrifice of Yeshua continually remind me of Your mercy and the seriousness of sin.

Let my life testify to Your faithfulness.

And above everything else, let the heavenly Father be glorified.

As Yeshua taught me:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.”

—Matthew 6:33

Therefore, Father, I seek Your Kingdom first.

I seek Your righteousness first.

I seek Your truth first.

I seek Your glory first.

And I place every hidden fear, every hidden concern, every hidden battle, and every unknown circumstance into Your hands.

You are my refuge.

You are my defender.

You are my light.

You are my King.

You are Hashem.

May Your name be glorified forever.

May Your Kingdom expand through Yeshua.

May Your truth reign in my heart.

May Your light overcome every darkness.

May Your righteousness guide my steps.

May Your mercy sustain me.

May Your fire purify me.

May the shield of Yeshua's blood remind me continually of redemption, mercy, repentance, and covenant faithfulness.

And may my entire life bring glory to You.

In Yeshua's name, Amen.
