Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) grass-fed beef bones or organic chicken bones

  • 2 carrots, chopped

  • 2 celery stalks, chopped

  • 1 onion, quartered

  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 10–12 cups (2.3–2.8 L) filtered water

  • Sea salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: fresh parsley, turmeric, or ginger for added healing


Directions

  1. Place bones in a slow cooker with vegetables, vinegar, and seasonings.

  2. Cover with water. Cook on low for 6–8 hours (up to 24 hours for deeper flavor).

  3. Strain broth through a fine mesh sieve.
