Rosh Hashanah — Prayer of Awakening and Kingdom Expansion

Rosh Hashanah — Prayer of Awakening and Kingdom Expansion

Avinu Malkeinu,

My Father and my King,

As I enter this sacred season of Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, I lift my heart to You in awe and thanksgiving. HaShem, You are my Creator, my Deliverer, and my Sustainer. “The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!” (Psalm 97:1). Today I stand before You, seeking Your glory to be magnified in my life and in the nations, and for Your Kingdom to advance through Yeshua, my Messiah.

Father, I cover myself with the shield of Yeshua’s blood. Let His perfect sacrifice protect me from every attack of the enemy, every accusation, and every power of darkness. “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). May the blood of Yeshua sanctify me and make me holy, a vessel fit for Your purposes.

HaShem, ignite the fire of God within me. Let Your Spirit burn away pride, fear, and distraction, refining my heart and mind so that I may serve You with purity and devotion. “For I, declares the LORD, will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory within her” (Zechariah 2:5). Let this holy fire consume all that does not honor You and inflame me with zeal for Your Kingdom.

Yeshua, awaken me to the reality of Your coming Kingdom. As You said: “Watch therefore, for you do not know the day nor the hour” (Matthew 25:13), help me to live in readiness, obedience, and expectation. Let this year be a year of spiritual vigilance, faithful witness, and fruitfulness for Your glory.

Father, I pray for Your Name to be glorified in Israel and among the nations. “The LORD will be King over all the earth; on that day the LORD will be one and His Name one” (Zechariah 14:9). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let hearts be turned toward Yeshua, that Your Kingdom may expand and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Abba, I repent for the times I have relied on my own strength, neglected Your Word, or failed to walk in holiness. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10). Wash me, Father, and set me apart, so that I may glorify You in all I do.

I intercede for Israel, HaShem. Open the eyes of Your people to see Yeshua as Messiah, and awaken them to Your Spirit. “I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy” (Joel 2:28). May Your Kingdom be revealed in Jerusalem and flow outward to the nations, bringing light, life, and salvation.

I also lift the nations to You. Let Your glory, revealed in Yeshua, go forth like fire across every land. “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). Let rivers of living water flow from Your people, bringing healing, freedom, and deliverance to those who thirst.

Father, bless this Rosh Hashanah for me. Let it be a time of awakening, consecration, and renewal. Let my heart sound like the shofar, calling others to repentance and hope. May the shield of Yeshua’s blood protect me, the fire of Your Spirit refine me, and Your glory shine through me in all I do.

B’shem Yeshua HaMashiach — in the Name of Yeshua the Messiah, Amen.
