Prayers For Jewish Feasts

Shemini Atzeret — Eighth Day Assembly

Thanksgiving and Praise

Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King,

On this sacred Eighth Day, I pause to dwell in Your presence. HaShem, You are my refuge and my delight. “On the eighth day you shall hold a sacred assembly and present a food offering to the LORD” (Leviticus 23:36). I rejoice in Your holiness, majesty, and mercy.

Confession and Repentance

Father, forgive me for rushing through Your presence and failing to consecrate myself fully to You. Cover me with the shield of Yeshua’s blood. “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Let the fire of Your Spirit refine my heart and spirit. “For I, declares the LORD, will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory within her” (Zechariah 2:5).

Kingdom Intercession

I pray for Israel to recognize Yeshua as Messiah. “I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy” (Joel 2:28). Let Your Kingdom advance through Your covenant people, bringing salvation and light to all nations.

Personal Consecration

Abba, help me remain fully in You, abiding as a branch in the Vine. “Remain in me, and I will remain in you” (John 15:4). Let this Shemini Atzeret deepen my intimacy with You and strengthen my spiritual vigilance.

Closing Declaration

HaShem, glorify Yourself in Israel, in the nations, and in my life. Let the shield of Yeshua’s blood protect me, the fire of Your Spirit refine me, and Your glory shine through me.

B’shem Yeshua HaMashiach — Amen.

Simchat Torah — Rejoicing in the Torah

Thanksgiving and Praise

Father, I rejoice in Your Torah and in the Living Word, Yeshua HaMashiach. “The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul” (Psalm 19:7). I celebrate Your guidance, wisdom, and truth that sustain my life.

Confession and Repentance

Forgive me for neglecting Your Word or following my own ways. Cover me with the shield of Yeshua’s blood. “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Purify my heart, ignite Your fire in me, and make me obedient to Your commands.

Kingdom Intercession

I lift Israel to You, Abba. Open their eyes to see Yeshua, the Messiah, as the fulfillment of Your promises. “I will pour out my Spirit on all people” (Joel 2:28). Let Your Word reach the nations, advancing Your Kingdom and bringing salvation.

Personal Consecration

Father, help me live in full alignment with Your Torah and Your Spirit. “If you hold to My teaching, you are really My disciples” (John 8:31). Let my life bear fruit for Your glory and honor.

Closing Declaration

HaShem, let the shield of Yeshua’s blood protect me, the fire of Your Spirit refine me, and Your Word dwell richly in me. May Your glory shine through me today and always.

B’shem Yeshua HaMashiach — Amen.

Purim — Celebration of Deliverance

Thanksgiving and Praise

Father, I rejoice in Your miraculous deliverance of Your people. “For the hand of the LORD is upon all who seek Him” (Psalm 33:18–19). Thank You for saving Israel and for sending Yeshua, the ultimate Deliverer.

Confession and Repentance

Forgive me for times I have feared or doubted Your protection. Cover me with the shield of Yeshua’s blood. “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Ignite Your fire in my heart to remove fear, doubt, and despair.

Kingdom Intercession

I pray for Israel to recognize Yeshua as Messiah. “I will pour out my Spirit on all people” (Joel 2:28). Let Your Kingdom advance and Your glory dwell in Jerusalem and flow to the nations.

Personal Consecration

Father, I consecrate myself to celebrate Your faithfulness. Let my life reflect Your deliverance, and let the joy of Purim overflow in witness, love, and service. “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).

Closing Declaration

HaShem, let the shield of Yeshua’s blood protect me, the fire of Your Spirit refine me, and Your glory shine through me. May my life proclaim Your mighty deliverance.

B’shem Yeshua HaMashiach — Amen.

Hanukkah — Festival of Lights

Thanksgiving and Praise

Father, I celebrate Your miracles and faithfulness. “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1). Thank You for the miracle of the oil and the ultimate Light, Yeshua HaMashiach.

Confession and Repentance

Forgive me for walking in darkness, neglecting Your light, or relying on my own strength. Cover me with the shield of Yeshua’s blood. “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Ignite the fire of Your Spirit to dispel every darkness within me.

B’shem Yeshua HaMashiach — Amen.
