Fish Sandwiches Recipe - Kosher Food - Jewish Diets And Cuisines


Here's a recipe for fish sandwiches:


Ingredients:



- 4 fish fillets (tilapia, or any kosher fish)

- 4 hamburger buns

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon paprika

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1 egg, beaten

- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

- Lettuce leaves

- Sliced tomatoes


Instructions:


1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.


2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.


3. In another shallow dish, beat the egg.


4. In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.


5. Dip each fish fillet in the flour mixture, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the fish to coat it well.


6. Place the fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.


7. Bake the fish fillets for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.


8. While the fish is baking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chopped dill.


9. Toast the hamburger buns.


10. Spread the sauce on the bottom half of each bun.


11. Place a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on top of the sauce.


12. Place a fish fillet on top of the tomato.


13. Cover with the top half of the bun.


14. Serve and enjoy your delicious fish sandwiches!


Note: You can also fry the fish fillets in a pan with oil instead of baking them in the oven.
