Lettuce Sandwiches Recipe - Kosher Food - Jewish Diets And Cuisines


Here's a recipe for lettuce sandwiches:


Ingredients:


- 4 slices of bread

- 4-6 lettuce leaves

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

- 1/4 cup chopped green onions

- 1/4 cup chopped celery

- 1/4 cup chopped cucumber

- Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:


1. Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness.


2. Wash the lettuce leaves and pat them dry with a paper towel.


3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, green onions, celery, and cucumber. Mix well.


4. Spread the mayonnaise mixture on one side of each toasted bread slice.


5. Place 1-2 lettuce leaves on top of the mayonnaise mixture on two of the bread slices.


6. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the lettuce leaves.


7. Place the other two bread slices on top of the lettuce leaves, mayonnaise side down.


8. Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve.
