"Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a humble heart, seeking Your guidance and protection for my child. I pray that they will always walk in Your ways and remain steadfast in their faith. Help them to grow in righteousness and godliness, and to have a deep understanding of Your Word.
Lord, I pray that You will surround my child with Your divine presence. May Your Holy Spirit guide them in every decision they make and lead them on the path of righteousness. Protect them from the temptations and distractions of this world, and give them the strength to resist evil.
In Proverbs 22:6, Your Word says, 'Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.' I pray that as parents, we will be faithful in teaching our child Your ways and modeling a godly life before them. May they see our love for You and be inspired to follow You wholeheartedly.
Lord, I ask that You would grant my child wisdom and discernment. Help them to make choices that honor You and align with Your will. In James 1:5, Your Word promises, 'If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.' I claim this promise for my child and ask that You would grant them wisdom beyond their years.
Father, I pray that my child will have a heart of compassion and love for others. May they be a light in this world, shining Your love and grace to those around them. In Matthew 5:16, Your Word says, 'Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.' I pray that my child's life will bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You.
Lastly, I pray for Your protection over my child. Keep them safe from harm and surround them with Your angels. In Psalm 91:11-12, Your Word assures us, 'For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands, they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.' I trust in Your promise of protection and ask that You would watch over my child wherever they go.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer. I commit my child into Your loving hands, knowing that You are faithful and will always be with them. May they grow to be righteous and godly individuals, bringing glory to Your name.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
