A Prayer That My Child Will Never Use Drugs And Become A Drug Addict: Messianic Jewish Prayer With Bible Verses  

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a heavy heart, seeking Your guidance and protection for my child. Lord, I pray that You would shield them from the dangers and temptations of drugs and addiction. I ask that You would instill in them a deep understanding of the harmful effects of substance abuse and a desire to live a life that is pleasing to You.

In Your Word, You have given us wisdom and guidance on how to live a life that is free from the bondage of addiction. Proverbs 20:1 reminds us, "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise." Lord, I pray that You would grant my child the wisdom to discern the lies and deception that surround drug use.

I also pray that You would surround my child with godly influences and friends who will encourage them to make wise choices. Proverbs 13:20 says, "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." Lord, I ask that You would bring positive role models into their life who will guide them towards a path of righteousness.

Father, I know that ultimately, the decision to use drugs or not lies in the hands of my child. But I also know that You are a God of miracles and transformation. I pray that You would work in their heart, convicting them of the dangers of drugs and giving them the strength to resist temptation.

Lord, I surrender my child into Your loving care. I trust that You have a plan and purpose for their life, and I pray that it would be a life free from the bondage of addiction. May they find their identity and fulfillment in You, rather than seeking it in substances that only bring temporary pleasure.

I pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who came to set the captives free. Amen.
