A Prayer That My Child Will Never Use Profane Language: Messianic Jewish Prayer With Bible Verses

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a humble heart, seeking Your guidance and protection for my child. I pray that You would instill in them a reverence for Your name and a respect for the power of words. Lord, I ask that You would guard their lips and keep them from using profane language.

Your Word teaches us in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Father, I pray that You would impress upon my child the importance of speaking words that bring life, encouragement, and edification to others.

In Proverbs 4:24, it says, "Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you." Lord, I pray that You would help my child to recognize the harm that profane language can cause and to choose words that reflect Your love and righteousness.

I also ask for Your wisdom and discernment to guide me as a parent. Help me to model appropriate speech and to teach my child the value of using words to bless and uplift others. May my own words be a reflection of Your grace and truth.

Lord, I know that I cannot control every aspect of my child's life, but I trust in Your power to transform their heart and mind. I pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, enabling them to resist the temptation to use profane language and to instead speak words that honor You.

In Psalm 19:14, it says, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer." Father, I pray that this verse would become a reality in my child's life. May their words be pleasing to You, reflecting a heart that is surrendered to Your will.

I thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. I trust in Your love and provision for my child, knowing that You are able to keep them from stumbling. May they grow in wisdom and maturity, becoming a vessel of Your love and truth in this world.

In the precious name of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), I pray. Amen.
