Stewed Salmon Homemade Kosher Recipe




Ingredients:



- 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon



Instructions:




1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
3. Add the vegetable broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, dried dill, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes.
5. Gently place the salmon fillets into the skillet, making sure they are submerged in the liquid.
6. Cover the skillet and let the salmon simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
7. Squeeze the lemon juice over the salmon and stir gently to incorporate the flavors.
8. Remove the skillet from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
9. Serve the stewed salmon hot with your choice of side dishes, such as rice or steamed vegetables.
